I've been struggling with chronic pain for almost a decade now and I truly believe that you should really invest in your bed, especially your mattress because you spent a lot of time in it everyday. I've had a Simba Hybrid Mattress since I've been qualified nurse which is 10 years old now (that is crazy to think about!) so it was about time it was replaced and I thought I would share a little review of it for you all.

The Simba Mattress is a hybrid mattress which is a combination of foam and springs which gives you a restful, cradled feel, whilst also allowing you to sleep cooler and providing a robust support. Simba have unique microspring Aerocoil layers at the top of their hybrid mattresses which help to give you that ultimately comfortable, supported and cool while you sleep.
Because of my chronic pain, I really like that the Simba hybrid mattress is a medium-firm mattress so it's not too soft and not too firm so all areas of my body are getting the best level of support so I don't wake up in agony. The different layers of the mattress contribute to giving you the perfect level of support as the upper layers give you that supportive, cradled feeling and the base layers give you a firmer support. There are 4 different layers to the mattress to give you the optimal support and I love that the mattress comes with a removable cover that can be zipped off to be easily washed making it easy to care for. There are 5 different mattresses that Simba offer on their website and they handily have it in a chart so you can see all the features of the mattresses and decide which one would work best for you. They're also available in a range of sizes to match your bed frame.
I get chronic pain from the bottom of my neck, all down my spine and into my hips and legs so you can imagine how important it is for me to have a really comfortable but supportive mattress because I already struggle with non-restorative sleep that I don't want to be adding to the problem with an uncomfortable bed. Compared the bog-standard mattress, the Simba Hybrid mattress is so much more supportive without being overly firm and uncomfortable. It handily arrived in a compressed package to make for easy shipping and getting it upstairs to the bedroom. Once it was opened, it quickly sprung to shape and the cover is incredibly soft, they do advise for you to give it 24hrs after opening to fully fluff out. I won't lie, we put mine on the bed frame straight away to give it all day to relax from the packaging before I we made the bed in the evening ready for me to sleep on so it didn't have the ideal 24hrs but it was still perfect. I really notice such an improvement on the quality of stress I have with the Simba Hybrid mattress compared to a usual mattress, I really don't think I could sleep on any other mattress now.
Have you tried a Simba mattress yet?
