Recently the John Lewis in Liverpool One has been undergoing some changes and most recently they got the wonderful Trinny London stand smack bang in the middle of the beauty section on the 2nd floor so I thought it was about right for me to talk about the Trinny London John Lewis counter for Blogmas day 1!

Trinny London was created by the lovely Trinny Woodall in 2017 right from her kitchen table with the view to give everyone the tools to be their best and give personalised, effortless beauty to people of all ages. The brand started with their iconic stack which are multi-tasking products that are designed to be used in different ways and they click together so you can have a stack to take with you either in your purse or when travelling!
The Trinny London counter is in the middle of the beauty floor in John Lewis Liverpool right by the fragrances, it's a really good size counter with plenty of space to look around at the makeup and skincare as well testing out products and getting amazing advice from all the wonderful staff that work at the counter.

We headed in to have a look around the counter and actually try out the products because whilst I've heard of Trinny Woodall from tv since I was a teenager, I've not actually tried out her products. I was surprised at how spacious the counter was giving you plenty of space when picking out your goodies. We were welcomed in with some non-alcoholic bubbles whilst we had chance to look around as we ended up visiting on an event day so keep your ears out for the next event launch cause we had a wonderful time.
There was such a good selection of skincare and makeup products to look at and I was really interested in having a look all of the interlocking stacks not only in the makeup section but also in the skincare section. The total transformation set gives you a great introduction to the Trinny London skincare range, these are perfect sets whether you're brand new to the skincare range or you need to take your skincare with you when travelling and don't want to take all the bottles. You get a cleanser, exfoliator, moisturiser, retinal serum and slow release vitamin c serum. I really like that you can even keep hold on the interlinking stacks when you finish the products inside and refill them with your favourite Trinny London products.
As soon as I walked up to the counter, I was immediately drawn to the shimmery shadows in the Eye2Eye range cause I am a magpie when it comes to anything with sparkles. As you can see from the swatches, I ended up picking up all shimmer shades to swatch. I really liked that most of the shades were opaque when swatched and were all really easy to use with your fingers but also work great with brushes so no matter your makeup experience or the time you have to do your makeup, you can make the products work for you. It's so handy that on the Trinny London website, they have a find my shade locator so you can see how they shades look like on different skin tones so you can get a better idea of what it will look on you as a pale skin girly, I really like this cause I can make sure I'm picking a shade that doesn't look completely different on my skin or makes me look like a clown. All of their makeup products are cream-based making it perfect for me with drier skin (and the odd wrinkle).
The John Lewis Trinny London counter have 4 different services that you can book on the Trinny London website and you can redeem the price of your service on products from the counter. The staff are all wonderful and so helpful so they're great for whether you're looking to expand your makeup or you're in the beginning of stages of getting into skincare and makeup.
Have you tried Trinny London products yet?
