I've been to Mamasan in Liverpool One before for a couple of events and they always do it right and go all out so when they got in touch with an invite to the launch of their rooftop garden for the summer in collaboration with Ciroc, you know I jumped at the chance to accept their invite and bring along spend the evening with some of my favourite people in a beautiful setting.
For those of you who don't know, let me introduce you to Mamasan Liverpool a little bit. Mamasan is located on college lane in Liverpool One and is a great all-rounder venue as you can nip in for drinks before you got out for the evening or you can sit down and have food and delicious cocktails. They have 3 floors, plus the rooftop garden and they are all styled beautifully so if you want to get all the cute, Instagram worthy photos, it's perfect! They have a great range of Thai dishes on their menu for you to try out including sushi and they always seem to be doing amazing deals with the dishes on their menu.
Now due to migraine reasons I don't really drink alcohol often but I do love a good cocktail so I was excited to see what combination Ciroc and Mamasan would come up with for the rooftop launch. They came up with 6 different cocktails made from the Ciroc spirits for us all to try whilst enjoying the live dancing, fire shows and live music.
I ended up going for the Velvet Peach which was a combination of the Ciroc vodka, peach liqueur, pea flower infused lychee syrup, orange wheel and white peach and jasmine soda. This was definitely my favourite of the cocktails as it was so refreshing and did not taste like an alcoholic cocktail in the slightest, they were WAY too easy to drink. I took along my sister-to-be (aka my brother's fiancee) and she ended up going for the Dragons Milk which had Ciroc coconut, banana liqueur, fresh lime juice, dragon fruit syrup, coconut cream and pineapple juice. She ended up trying that one cocktail and sticking to it for the entire time were there. I tried a little bit and it legit tasted like a banana milkshake which was a huge bonus for me as I don't like coconut anything (yes I know I'm weird).
I really like that all the other cocktails were made to be fresh and light for summer. They were the perfect for sitting out in the sun with your besties, catching up on all the juicy gossip that has gone on in your life. Mamasan Liverpool are open 7 days a week, 12 noon till late so there's plenty of opportunities to head along with your favourite people to enjoy it!
