New In | L'Occitane Haircare

I've been trying my hardest over the last couple of years to take the best care of my hair with all the time and money I put into it to make it pink. I do find that I need to look for more hydrating and nourishing hair care products. Recently the lovely folks from L'Occitane got in touch offering to send some of their hair care to try out and review for you all.

The Intensive Repair Shampoo & Conditioner duo is designed perfectly for dry, brittle or damaged hair, it's also designed to be colour safe which is perfect with me dying it pink regularly. This range is designed to help you revitalise, strengthen and protect your hair from heat styling and chemical damage. It has a gentle silicone-free formula and has five essential oils, angelica, ylang-ylang, sweet orange, lavender, geranium. I like how with all those essential oils in the formula, this duo is very lightly scented and has that sweet and slightly floral scent that just lightly scents your hair without being really overwhelming.

I've seen people raving about the L'Occitane hair care range and now I can see why after trying it myself. I sometimes find that because I get bleach highlights on my roots, once I've double shampoo'd my hair, I can sometimes my get very dry feeling roots. I find that duo leaves my hair feeling clean but also nourished. I was surprised how much I liked this shampoo & conditioner duo, I found the scent really relaxing so it's perfect for helping me to wind down and relax for bed.

I really like that I don't have to use lots and lots of conditioner for it to leave my hair feeling conditioned but I can use a bit more with some added hair serum to make a hair mask for a more intensive treatment once a month. I'll pop it on my hair and be doing a bunch of tasks at home or on my laptop before washing it out which leaves it feeling so soft and shiny. Like a lot of L'Occitane products, there is refillable options for both the shampoo and conditioners so once you're purchased a bottle and know that you love it, you can purchase the refills and keep reusing your bottles again and again.

Have you tried L'Occitane hair care?
