I've been a fan of sheet masks since I remember them coming out when I was a teenager and I have tried a range of brands now so when the lovely folks at Dermaroller got in touch asking if I wanted to try the intense hydration mask, you know I completely jumped at the chance to try it out and see how it compared to other sheet masks I've used.
XCellarisPro Intense Hydration Mask
The intense hydration mask comes in a pack of 5 sheet masks for £59. These are more luxury face masks so I've loved using them when I'm really having a treat on my pamper masks. It's filled with hyaluronic acid, copper tripeptide and Ma-trixyl which helps to provide your skin with intense hydration and nutrients whilst also helping to increase the skin's collagen and hyaluronic acid production to help your skin's elasticity to help with fine lines and wrinkles.
This sheet mask has been perfect in the warm weather as I've put a couple in the fridge which means it's chilled when I apply it and it has a nice cooling effect so it helps particularly with puffiness and irritation that my skin has been going through recently because the hayfever really has been hitting me hard over the last couple of weeks. I usually apply this sheet mask in the evening for 20-30 minutes after I've double cleansed my skin to really help calm my skin and give it a boost before I go to bed so my skin can help repair my skin overnight. I'm not going to lie, I have left this on longer than 30 minutes before if I've really gotten into a book. Once I take the mask off, I simply massage any excess product into my skin and neck before applying a night cream and heading to bed.
I really like how hydrated and glowy my skin is after using this sheet mask and it really does help to give my skin a boost before going to bed but you can also use this sheet mask at any time of the day. They recommend you use these masks once a week but I don't have the budget unfortunately to warrant that so at the minute I've been using these sheet masks once a month.
