Since moving from clinical to working from home, I have been using Green Flash polishes from Manucurist since June last year and it's kept my nails in such good condition and also stops me picking at my nails and hands so much. I feel like with every season Manucurist are bringing out more and more collections and with Spring being here, they've launched their Playful Wonderland collection which includes three new shades and a beautiful glitter.
Playful Wonderland
The new Playful Wonderland collection is all about freeing your inner child with their three new colours. You can get these wonderful new colours as singles or if you want to go all out you can get the trio collection in the standard polish finish and the Green Flash finish. The three new shades are Candy, a pink with cool undertones, Brazil, an electric green, and Porcelaine, a creamy off-white. So far I've tried out all but the Brazil shade and as someone who doesn't usually like bright colours, I was surprised that I really liked this collection. The first colour I tried out was the Porcelaine with the glazed effect powder on top and it turned out so pretty.
The Candy comes out as a really pretty Barbie cool toned pink, I never really go for bright colours so was actually surprised with how nice the Candy colour looked on my nails. Because I'm a more neutral toned pale girl, this cool-toned pink complimented my skin really well and really got me in the Spring mood. I did find with the Candy and Porcelaine colours, I ended up doing 3 coats because I didn't do an even first coat and it worked out perfectly but if you didn't have shaky hands like me, you'd get away with doing two coats. I'm still waiting to try out the Brazil colour, I need to find a way to style it out to compliment my skin tone.
