I've been to quite a few events at Flannels Liverpool now and mostly recently I headed along to their most recent End of Summer masterclass event. I'd initially booked tickets to go along and see and support my friend Lynsey from Gucci but then ended up helping out my wonderful friends at Hourglass by being a model for their masterclass and I thought I'd share with you all how the day was and what goodies I picked up on the day.

The Flannels End of Summer event ended up being a really interesting day. The tickets were about £20 each which included a very generous goody bag and access to one of their masterclasses they were holding on the day. I do think that the actual day could have been better planned and executed. Everyone was scheduled to arrive there at 12pm and the link for tickets gave the impression that your ticket gave you access to the back to back masterclasses that were being held on the day when there wasn't enough space for the sheer amount of people who booked tickets. When everyone arrived, you went to the tills to show your ticket and give your name, you were then given a goody bag and then sent to the beauty bar for the first masterclass which only had about 10 seats around it and some seats that had been booked via the brand so as you can imagine it was chaotic. I think what they should have done was when you booked and bought your ticket, you select one of the masterclasses to attend so it would run a little bit smoother.

I ended up sitting in on the Dior fragrance masterclass and then the lovely girls at my favourite counter Hourglass asked if I'd be their model while they demo'd their new face tint, I then ended up talking to the customers that had watched the masterclass and helped them with any queries they had about products or shades. Whilst I was in Flannels, I did decide to head to the lovely girls at Benefit to get my brows done as they had a great offer where you got a free brow tint with any brow wax during September. As usual they did an incredible job and I finally have brows back on my face (any girlies with light hair will totally understand this!).

Overall I thought it could have been so much better planned but it was lovely to see the girls from Hourglass, Benefit and Gucci. The goody bag was also a very lovely touch and was really generous for the £20 for the ticket. I'm looking forward to all the Christmas events that I've no doubt Flannels Liverpool will have. You got the price of your ticket back on a purchase made on the day so I decided to use it to finally pick up the Hourglass No.28 primer that I've had my eye on for a little while now.
