I've been quickly becoming a fan of Hourglass Cosmetics products and I've been using my last Ambient Lighting palette over the last year so you know I was excited when I spotted the sneak peaks of the new Ambient Lighting palettes launching on Instagram so when they finally came in store, I got the chance to head along to Harvey Nichols Beauty Bazaar to try it out first hand and share it all with you.
The new Ambient Lightening palettes launched at the end of September, there are 3 palette designs to purchase in store and if you go to their website, there is an exclusive owl artwork design that is an online exclusive which you can choose to the exact design you want with the shades that are right for your skin tone. I lucked out cause my favourite palette design is the jellyfish which is perfect for someone really pale like myself but you also have a snake, leopard and owl design to choose from. The artwork celebrates the beauty of nature and to help unlock change to protect animal rights, 5% of annual profits from these palettes is donated to the Nonhuman Rights Project.
If I didn't still have my Ambient palette that's still going strong with loads in, I would have picked up the new one with the jellyfish on, on the day of trying it. Each palette contains six products with three of them being best selling shades from their finishing powders and a blush. It also has three brand new shades of blush, bronzer and highlight which are all designed to diffuse, enhance and leave your complexion glowing. The finishing powders come in two shades, one cool and one warm so it's perfect for all of his pale beauties. The blush is called Rose Fusion which is a beautiful cool mauve colour, the highlighter is called Opal Strobe Light which is a stunning pale rose gold and the bronzer is called Lunar Bronze which is a matte warm bronze.
I absolutely loved the rose gold day time glam look that the amazing girls at Hourglass in Harvey Nichols Beauty Bazaar did for me. It was the perfect look for me to then go and create content in. We teamed it with the Blaze Scattered Light Glitter Eyeshadow which is next on my list to pick up. The girls at the Harvey Nics counter are so friendly and really do take the extra time to ensure that you're makeup looks stunning and you're completely happy with it before you leave.
