Rosie is only a couple of years old now and is quickly a regular feature on my blog and social media which she's loving because she gets regular treats and events like the Nova Scotia doggy brunch. A few weeks back I got the chance to finally try out the breakfast menu at Nova Scotia for their newly launched doggy brunch and Rosie came along with me for the morning out which as you can see from the pictures she was all smiles and absolutely loved every second of it.

Nova Scotia Liverpool
Nova Scotia Liverpool is an independent bar and eatery situated in the gorgeous Mann Island building that helps to celebrate the forgotten Nova Scotia district (now known as Mann Island) that was an integral part of Liverpool's maritime history. This dock served Canada and the lumber trade and similar to how Liverpool had a Nova Scotia district (like the province in Canada), Canada also have a River Mersey and Mann Island. Nova Scotia Liverpool offer everything from delicious breakfasts and lunches to small plates, great mains, including incredible roast dinners and a variety of cocktails. So no matter what your occasion, they have something on the menu for everyone.
Doggy Brunch
During November Nova Scotia Liverpool launched their first doggy brunch and I got the chance to head along with Rosie which you know that she loved. For only £10 you get a breakfast brioche and a choice of hot drink whilst your pup gets their own breakfast and pupachino completely free between 8.30am till 10.30am. Their next doggy brunch will be on Sunday 16th December and it's essential that you book via their website as they make sure that all the dogs are spaced out throughout the restaurant so that no pups feel overwhelmed.
I took my mum with me to the doggy brunch because lets face it Rosie is now 16kg who very much thinks she is a lap dog so prefers to sit next to you (or on you!) rather than on the floor especially in an unusual environment so I thought if my mum came with me one of us could keep her distracted whilst the other person eats and vice versa. Nova Scotia Liverpool have five different breakfast brioches for you to choose from in your £10 deal and they are very flexible with swapping out ingredients for something else. My mum decided to go for The Full Monte breakfast brioche which included maple syrup to pour over and I went for the Wakey, Wakey, Eggs, & Bakey breakfast brioche but instead of sausage I swapped it out for grilled halloumi because if you're not having halloumi for breakfast you're doing it wrong.
I can confirm that the breakfast brioches are one of the best breakfasts that I've had in Liverpool, they are also huge so you're are guaranteed not to be hungry for ages! The whole morning was just amazing, the whole staff at Nova Scotia Liverpool were so friendly and welcoming, they all loved having all the dogs in the restaurant cause they had dogs of all sizes including puppies. Rosie was full of smiles the entire time that she was there and she got so many extra treats from the staff, she genuinely didn't want to leave.
I can highly recommend the Nova Scotia doggy brunch, even if you don't have a puppy yourself, you can head along and see the pups of all sizes there and even get a stroke or twenty from them all. It looks like the doggy brunch is currently being held on one Sunday a month and for £10, you really can't beat the price so make sure you get yourself booked in for the next one on the 16th December!
