It's about time I talked to you all about the Dynamic Skin Recovery moisturiser cause I've been testing it out for a little while now after it being recommended to me when I went to get a facial at the Dermalogica counter in Liverpool Flannels. I've been testing this moisturiser out on skincare only days as well as days when I'm wearing a full face of makeup to see if it worked for both or if it started to pill or make my makeup sit funny. Thankfully I've had nothing but positive things to talk about so let's just get into the review.

Dynamic Skin Recovery

The Dynamic Skin Recovery moisturiser from Dermalogica is a broad spectrum moisturiser that is designed to help combat the appearance of skin ageing with a broad spectrum SPF 50 included in the formula. It's filled with white tea, polyphenols and a unique polypeptide which all help improve the appearance of skin that may have been prematurely aged by the sun. It helps to provide long-lasting hydration and protection from UV light.

My Experiences

I've been testing out this Dynamic Skin Recovery moisturiser for a little while now and so far I've got nothing but good things to say about it. Especially on the days when my health is not doing too good, I really love that this moisturiser can be a two in one. It's my moisturiser and SPF all in one. It does have a fairly strong scent once you pump it out, it's a floral with a hint of citrus.

I do really like that it comes in an all contained, pump style dispense cause it means you can keep it as hygienic as possible. I find that it it's a thicker moisturiser which I think is in part to the SPF in the formula but it does blend really nicely into my skin and leave it feeling silky soft which is perfect if you want to pop some makeup on over the top. I really like that it doesn't leave you with that shiny moisturiser look so even on my skincare only days, my skin looks glowy without getting shiny. I have pretty dry skin so I was interested to see about the long lasting hydration that it claims to give, thankfully I found it hydrating enough to quench my dry skin without leaving me looking like a grease ball the entire day.

This Dynamic Skin Recovery moisturiser is great for people of all ages, it's especially helpful for me as I've been getting more fine lines since I hit my mid-twenties so this is perfect for me. A little of this moisturiser goes a long way, even for my dry skin I didn't need big amounts to leave my skin feeling hydrated. Having a pump on the container allows you to really control how much product comes out with each pump so you can fully customise it on what your skin needs. It is a little bit more on the luxury side at £75 for a 50ml but I've been using it every morning since December and it's still going strong so you will be getting your moneys worth.
