I love that there are constantly new spots that are opening in Liverpool and most recently it was Seel St Venue launching towards the top of Seel Street so I headed in with my friend Lynsey to the opening night to check it out and try out their cocktails.

Seel St Venue is a great new cocktail bar that is perfect if you want to head out with friends for a couple of cocktails or they even offer cocktail making masterclasses, so for £25 each you can have a fun evening together. Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays they also have themed nights with either independent or established DJ's as well as latin, reggeton and afrobeats music. Inside Seel St Venue, it's an intimate location with booths lining the wall opposite the bar with a private bar area upstairs that can be rented out for special events. The walls are filled with art featuring some amazing artists covered in flowers.

Whilst we were there, they had a selection of cocktails on offer for us to test but the venue has 19 different cocktails for you to try so there's definitely something for everyone, no matter your tastes. The Lychee Caipirinha and the Pink Colada were definitely top of our list from what we'd tried over the evening and it seemed that everyone else who spotted them ended up going to the bar and ordering them for themselves.

It was such a great little venue, perfect for some cocktails with the girls or even if you've got a event such as a birthday, hen do or leaving do cause the cocktail masterclass will be an amazing and fun experience if nothing more than to learn how to make your own cocktails at home. Seel St Venue is very close to transport links so it's perfect for nights out, they are also amazing for making any of their cocktails into mocktails so if you don't want to drink, there's an alternative for you.

What's your favourite cocktail?

Speak to you next time!
