Rose Inc
Rose Inc is the amazing brainchild between Rosie Huntington-Whitely and the biotech company Amyris which has allowed them to produce indulgent colour and skincare that is designed to outperform in every category. Their products are designed to have a dual approach giving amazing results with skincare benefits so you get the best of both worlds. All of their products are filled with clean active ingredients that deliver visible skincare benefits. Rose Inc is cruelty free and vegan whilst also housed in sustainable packaging.

Satin Lip Colour Rich Refillable Lipstick
I was kindly allowed to pick my favourite shade from a selection of the Satin Lip Colour Rich Refillable Lipsticks and without realising I picked the shade Poised which is one of Rosie's favourite shade. These lipsticks are a rich, refillable lipstick that helps plump your lips whilst drenching them in moisture and helping to visibly blur any vertical lip lines you may have. It's filled with Swertia flower extract, organic mustard sprouts and squalene which all help give your lips weightless hydration and plumper lips.

I really love that these Satin Lip Colour Lipsticks have a really sharp line at the top of the lipstick bullet so it's perfect for using to line your lips first then fill them in as normal so you don't have to worry about carrying around an extra lip liner to match. I am all for deep berry and Rose Inc class their Poised lipstick as a deep brick shade but on my fair skin you can really see the berry tones in the lipstick. I have pretty dry lips so when this lipstick first arrived I was a bit worried about how it might sit on my lips but this literally gives you the best parts of having a long wearing matte lipstick whilst being really hydrating. I popped this lipstick on and gave it a trial run through a coffee and cheese toastie, cocktail making masterclass (blog post coming soon!) which included about 5/6 drinks then through a dinner at Casa Italia and it was still going strong and hadn't smudged all over the place. I found that when it wore off a little bit, it still left a stain to my lips so it looked like it was still there by the end of the day (roughly 8-9 hours) without going patchy, it just didn't look quite as vibrant as when it was first applied. I'll definitely be going back and picking it up in a few more shades.

Ultra-Black Lash Lift Mascara
Next up I got the chance to try their Ultra-Black Lash Lift Mascara which comes with their curved mascara brush which is designed to not only lift and curl your lashes but the shorter side helps to envelop your lashes in pigment and the longer side give your lashes a fanned out effect. The formula is filled with squalene infused pigment to give you that glossy, black colour with peptides to help strengthen and lengthen your lashes, as well as Argan oil and Goji berry oil extracts which help to prevent any lash damage.

I'm not going to lie, my lashes are very much pains in the bum. Sometimes they'll look great immediately after I apply it then as the day wears on my lashes just seem to drop even if I curl it with an eyelash curler. I've found that mascaras that have this brush seem to work best for me as I can use the shorter side to make sure that my lashes are evenly coated in product then use the longer side to get that fanned out, lifted lashes. I have pretty fine lashes so I loved that this Ultra-Black Lash Lift Mascara made my lash line appear thicker and it helped with that fanned out look.

Don't forget you can use the code - ROSEUK-DANIELLE to get some money off any of your purchases at Rose Inc.
