Lush Christmas Haul

Danielle Levy, Lush, Lush Liverpool, Lifestyle blogger, Wirral blogger, Liverpool blogger,

For me, Christmas has truly arrived once I've visited Lush Liverpool and I was so excited this year as they've gone one step further by having an entire Christmas floor! I know I'm a bit late with this blog post and it was supposed to go in Blogmas but I couldn't not share it with you all even if it is a bit late.

The lovely Leigh from Lush Liverpool kindly gave me a hand with looking around the Christmas floor, introducing me to new launches for 2019 and she helped me spend WAY too much money so I may as well just get on with sharing with you all what I got because I'm loving the range this Christmas!

Now for me Snow Fairy is an iconic part of Christmas at Lush and whilst this year I was going to pick up the normal Snow Fairy bath bomb, but I found the new Amazeballs which is a larger than normal bath bomb which when you lift the lid off there is crumbled up bubble bar inside so if you're like me and use a bath bomb, bubble bar and bath oil in one bath then these are perfect for you. The Snow Fairy one has the classic scent and turns your bath into a pink sparkly wonderland but I also picked up the Holly Go Lightly version which I'm pretty sure this scent was either a bath bomb or bubble bar in years past. Now this one's scent is a lot more reserved compared to Snow Fairy but it has a really nice sweet and citrus scent.

I'm a big fan of the Lush lip scrubs, in fact I don't think I've ever tried any other brands lip scrub and I did pick up the Pumpkin Spiced one in the Autumn but I'm going to be rotating that one out with the Sugar Plum Fairy one and it smells so yummy. It's your typical sugar lip scrub but it's got a super yummy sugar plum scent. I don't think I've ever tried one of Lush's body scrubs but as soon as I spotted the Cookie Dough one, I had to try it. This smells incredible, it literally smells like someone has been making cookies. I was excited to give this one a go as a treat especially for my hands as they get very dry due to work so I thought it would be fab to give my hands a bit of a scrub after work/at the end of the week before layering on the Helping Hands cream before I go to bed.

I have loved the So White bath bomb for years and have been devastated that it was taken out of the Christmas range a few years ago, however the wonderful Leigh told me that Lush Liverpool are special enough to have it all year round so you know that I treated myself to it this year and I imagine that I'll be picking up quite a few over 2020. Before I knew that Lush had the So White bath bomb, I found the Snow Apple soap on the Christmas floor which reminds me so much of So White but it's less sweet and a more tart version. The Shoot For The Stars bath bomb is one that I've picked up a couple of times and I love it, it's the perfect one for me as it includes little gold stars that are bath oils which float on the surface of your bath once the bath bomb dissolves.

I feel like the Yog Nog scent is the more grown-up, luxurious sweet scent in the Christmas range and I don't know if my taste has changed a bit this year but I'm loving it! It reminds me of caramel and baked goods, I decided to pick up the shower gel and bubble bar versions of it and I'm so excited to have a bath with them very soon! I'm all for the Candy Cane reusable bubble bar, when I first spotted it I thought it was going to be a really sweet scent but was more citrusy scented. I'm a big fan of breaking up my bubble bars to get multiple baths out of them so the candy cane one is perfect as I can break it up into sections. When I think of Christmas I always think of the usual green, red and white colours so when I spotted the Santa's Grotto bath bomb I loved the light blue and pink colour, it's so unique for Christmas. This one isn't a super sweet Christmas scent, it's more floral and I find it really relaxing so I think this will be perfect for the end of a long week to help me wind down before an early night.

Do you love Lush's Christmas range?

Speak to you next time!
