Give me an evening of pampering, sparkling wine, getting my hair done and chatting with some of my favourite people and I'll be there in a heartbeat! At the end of July, the lovely folks at JP Chenet invited me along to their #TreatMoi event in White Haus Hair & Beauty.

JP Chenet has been around since 1984 when it was launched with just two different versions of wine, the Cabernet Sauvignon Vin de Pays d'Oc and the Blanc de Blancs Vin de Pays des Cotes de Gascogne. Now JP Chenet not only have an amazing selection of different wines and brandy, but they've also got one of the most distinctive bottles on the market! On the night we got the chance to try some of the more traditional wines as well as trying out their latest launches, the Ice Edition wines.

I've never been to White Haus before so I'm very thankful for JP Chenet for inviting me to the event as it was amazing and even though we were smack bang in the middle of a horrendous heatwave, JP Chenet and the lovely folks at White Haus kept us cooled with plenty of drinks to keep us refreshed whilst we were drinking the wine and industrial-sized fans! I arrived with Yasmina after having a mare getting the trains back from Manchester and pretty much resembled a melted mess so it couldn't have come at a better time to have a pamper and an ice-cold glass of wine!

Not only did I manage to get my hair curled (even if it did only stay in until I got home, thanks humidity!), I also got a basic manicure (the joys of being a nurse, I got to have a plain topcoat whilst everyone else was getting gorgeous shellac nails!) which was lovely all the same, I definitely don't pamper myself enough! All the while trying out the JP Chenet wines which I'd never tried before (and can report that they are blooming delicious) and treating myself to little french pastries which myself and Yasmina died over the mini eclairs that had like some Nutella filling inside! Whilst I was there my favourite by far was definitely the Ice Edition Rose! It's got hints of strawberry, raspberry and cherry and is best served cold over ice so it's perfect for a relaxed evening watching a film with the girls or even during the warm weather at a BBQ.

Thank you to JP Chenet and White Haus for having me at the event, I'm going to be heading back to White Haus for some treatments and I am definitely going to be stocking up on the Ice Edition Rose because it was my favourite by far and was so smooth and easy to drink! I'm normally a red wine fan as well so I'm gonna have to put their red wine to the test soon.

Have you tried JP Chenet?

Speak to you next time!
*I was invited to the JP Chenet event. All opinions are honest and my own.
