It's been a month or so since I was introduced to the new No7 Laboratories launches and I thought I would properly put their skincare to the test. I thought I would redesign my first impressions blog posts as a New In series on my blog as I don't know, I just like the sound of it and I like to think it makes it easier to find on my blog. This month, my new in skincare is from the lovely folks at No7!

No7 has been around since 1935 with their brand philosophy revolving around helping women look and feel their best every day. I've tried the odd couple of things from No7, mainly the new Laboratories products at the launch event and the odd bit of makeup or skincare that I've received in beauty advert calendars. I thought to kick off this New In series on my blog, I'd feature my new skincare routine that the lovely folks at No7 kindly gifted me as I'm going to be trying out solely these for the next month to see if they make a difference and if it's worth you spending your money on them.

For the next month I'm going to be testing out skincare from the Laboratories, HydraLuminous and Radiant Results ranges, it's got everything from £9.50 to £38.00 so there is something for everyone's budget. One thing I do love about No7 is that they always seem to have the £5 off voucher offer on whenever you buy anything from Boots. I always end up using these vouchers to get a pack of makeup wipes for £2.50, yes I do sometimes use makeup wipes particularly after a night shift as sometimes I just want to get my butt into bed and don't want to do my full on cleansing routine!

Radiant Results
I've got two cleansers from the Radiant Results range, like I've probably already said about a million times I usually use two cleansers when I wash my face (if I've got makeup on!). If I'm wearing makeup, I like to use a cleansing balm to remove it as I feel like it helps to clean my skin whilst giving my poor dry skin some much needed moisture. After I've taken off my makeup, I like to use a foaming face wash to wash my face with, the type of face wash you use is completely up to you but I mainly like to use a foaming face wash as I feel like it lasts longer than other types of face washes.

The Nourishing Cleansing Balm is £13.00 and I actually love that each tube of cleansing balm comes with it's own muslin cloth so you don't need to use cotton wool pads to remove it and it gives a slight exfoliation to my skin, again dry skin problems. I can't put my finger on the scent but it smells amazing and the scent isn't really overwhelming. No7 says that it is supposed to give you more radiant and healthier looking skin in just one week, so I'm excited to see how my skin looks at the end of the month. The Revitalising Foaming Cleanser is again supposed to give you more radiant and healthier looking skin in just a week but it's also supposed to help remove makeup, impurities and pollutants. This cleanser smells similar to the cleansing balm but it smells lighter and very refreshing, it also has vitamins C, E, B5 and red ginseng in.

HydraLuminous
The HydraLuminous range is one of the main parts of my daily skincare routine, I've got a serum, day and night cream. The scent of this range is a really light and fresh scent, the whole range also has pollution shield technology included which acts as a barrier for your skin against pollution particles. The range is also supposed to quench and comfort drier skin whilst also hydrating for 72 hours. I picked out the Water Concentrate to use as a serum before my moisturiser but you can also add a couple of drops into your favourite moisturiser to give it an extra hit of moisture.

I also got a day and night cream from the range as I thought they would be the best ones to try out for my chronically dry skin. As you probably all know by now, working in the dry air of the hospital leads to my skin feeling very dehydrated so I look for day/night cream that helps to hydrate and comfort my dry skin. Both the day and night cream come in a normal, drier skin or oil-free formula so you can still get hydrated and luminous skin whilst having the moisturisers that work better for different skin types! For my day cream I've gone for the Water Surge Gel Cream for drier skin, which is super lightweight but surprisingly hydrating so it's perfect for underneath all the makeup I wear on a day to day basis. My night cream is also from the Hydraluminous range and is actually a gel moisturiser so it's really refreshing when I pop it on, in fact during all this really hot weather I've been popping mine in the fridge for a little bit to make them extra refreshing when I pop it on.

No7 Laboratories
I'm excited to put a bunch of the new No7 Laboratories launches to the test over the next month. I've not only got a couple of their targeted serums to try out but I'll also be putting some of their skin paste face masks to the test.

This month I decided to try out the Line Correcting and Dark Circle Corrector targeted serums to work alongside the Water Concentrate serum. I'm most excited for the Dark Circle Corrector serum, working days and nights with very little sleep and a lot less water than I should drink has left me with bad undereye bags. It's supposed to reduce the appearance of dark circles in just 4 weeks so I'm excited to take pictures week on week and see if my dark circles become lighter, calmer and less puffy. I'm going to be using it in combination with the Line Correcting serum to help me with fine lines under and around my eyes as well some slight laugh lines on either side of my nose.

As I think we all know by know, I am a huge fan of face masks especially multi-masking because it kills two birds with one stone and really targets some of my problem areas. I think I've tried a hydrating face mask from No7 before but for the next month, I've got two of the No7 Laboratories Skin Pastes to use. Both the skin pastes are slightly different, targeted for different concerns and I really like that one of the skin pastes is one that you can actually apply and wear overnight! The Resurfacing Skin Paste is supposed to help smooth and refine your skin and reduce the size of pores with results being visible in just a week, it does have an AHA/PHA peel complex so please be careful as it can make your skin more sensitive to the sun when you are using it. The one I'm most excited for is the CICA-Rescue Skin Paste which is the one that you actually apply and leave it on overnight, it's supposed to help calm and soothe your skin as well as reducing redness whilst helping to boost hydration and strengthen your skin's protective skin barrier.

I can't wait to put these to the test for the next month and let you know how I got on at the end of July. I'm most excited to try out the skin pastes and the targeted serums and I will be sure to take plenty of before and after photos for you all!

Have you tried No7 skincare before?

Speak to you next time!
