Since being a teen and falling in love with makeup and skincare, I've loved shopping in Boots. One of the brands that I fell in love with was No7 and I never thought that one day a brand I grew up with would actually invite me to work with them! A couple of weeks ago, I visited their No7 Laboratories roadshow for the launch of two new additions to the range and I couldn't have been more excited.

No7 has been a household name since 1935 and if you ask anyone in Liverpool they will chew your ear off with how much they love their products. Their aim behind the brand is to make every woman look and feel amazing every day to help you take on anything that life might throw your way! In April last year, they released their first products in the No7 Laboratories range and this year they have launched their new platform Face The Future for Gen X women as well as the two new launches that I was there to check out.

Last month, No7 completed a roadshow visiting several amazing places throughout the UK with their mobile laboratories showing their two new targeted serums that have been released to their already fabulous range. Just outside the huge Clayton Square Boots (which is amazing and you need to visit if you haven't as it's got so many fab brands in), they'd set up the mobile laboratory filled with healthy treats, juices and filled with No7 experts ready to tell you all about the new launches and give you a skincare prescription.

I arrived and ran straight into the lovely Jess and Ping before having a chat with Emma about the new serums. As well as having a chat about the new launches, Emma also asked me about my skin and what type of skincare routine I have at the moment, from which she was able to recommend me some No7 skincare products that I need to try out. Not only did she do that she wrote me an actual No7 skincare prescription (it's all in the little details!) of all the things she'd recommend.

The two new launches to the No7 Laboratories range are the Firming Booster serum and Dark Spot Correcting Booster serum. The Firming Booster serum is designed to be used on the areas of your face most prone to losing firmness, the cheekbones, jawline and neck as well as improving the skin appearance in these areas with most people seeing a difference in just 1 week. The serum is super concentrated and filled with Hyaluronic acid, hibiscus extract and matrixyl 3000 plus which helps to penetrate into the deeper layers of your skin to hydrate your skin and help restore collagen levels, it also helps to target skin elasticity. One of my favourite parts of the serum is definitely the rollerball head, it has a 5 ball metal rollerball head that is lovely and cool on the skin with an on/off rotation so you can squeeze a small amount out then turn it to off and massage it up and out.

The Dark Spot Correcting Booster serum is designed to intensively target dark spots and areas of uneven pigmentation to leave your skin more even and radiant with most people noticing their dark spots appear faded in 2 weeks. The serum has 6 main ingredients to act on the causes of hyperpigmentation; Sephora, embilica and vitamin C which help to normalise melanin levels, mulberry and liquorice which help to prevent oxidative and environmental stress related pigmentation as well as gluconolactone which is a mild exfoliant which targets skin cells on the surface to improve unevenness.

I'm going to be testing out some No7 products over the next couple of weeks and I'll let you know how I get on at the end of the month. I've been dying to try out their makeup as I've mainly dived into their skincare so keep your eyes peeled for some blog posts featuring that!

What's your favourite No7 product?

Speak to you next time!
