As you guys all know I've been loving Clarins since 2017 and I've just started testing out their new My Clarins vegan skincare range (the testing started late cause I've been ridiculously unwell with my chest the past couple of weeks), to kick start testing out the new range out the girls at my local counter invited me into the amazing Skin Spa to try out the new My Clarins Detox & Glow facial.

As I mentioned in my first impressions post, the new My Clarins range is a 100% vegan skincare range that is targeted for under '30s but really anyone of any age can use it. The range revolves around putting all the goodness back into your skin whilst getting rid of all the nasties at the same time.

Of course, the facial focuses around the same thing and you can actually get the treatment in either the Skin Spa or the Beauty Bar, for those of you that don't know the Beauty Bar is the mini spa room you may see at the back of counters and they do 30-minute 'lunchtime' treatments and the Skin Spa is the more luxurious style treatments where you have your own room that even has a shower. Each room is dimly light for a really calm atmosphere so you can truly just relax (with the Beauty Bar you can hear everyone walking around and talking whereas the Skin Spa is much quieter and calmer) and focus on your treatment. Jade and Kelly told me about how the Skin Spa also has an accessible room which has a bigger, more spacious treatment room with a bigger shower room as well, I love that Clarins have thought about people that need a bit more room because everyone deserves a facial!

I arrived for my facial and was introduced to the super nice Jade who asked about my skin and if/what products I use from Clarins as well as blogging. She talked me through some of what we would be doing in the treatment and reinforcing some of the key points about the new range. Jade explained that the facial is all about rehydrating stressed out skin whilst giving you a glowing, fresh and clean complexion. The new products all work together to nourish and plump your skin whilst also detoxifying it and drawing out any imperfections. This new facial seems like the perfect addition into my monthly routine as a treat to myself and my skin (Jade mentioned that they recommend you have a facial every 4 weeks as your skin renews every 4 weeks).

Since trying out the Skin Spa for the first time, I can honestly say I don't want to go for a facial anywhere else! The room was such a calming, welcoming environment, couple that with that inviting treatment bed which literally has you all wrapped up and so supported (a huge plus for me especially seen as I have such a bad back), I literally nearly fell asleep way too many times! I've had a couple of facials over the past year or so and I've never had my skin look as good as my skin looked after finishing the Detox & Glow facial. No matter what light I was in or what angle I looked at my face, my face had a gorgeous glow to it and my skin literally drank up the products!

Have you tried a Skin Spa facial yet?

Speak to you next time!
*I was gifted this facial by the lovely girls from Clarins Liverpool.
