I have always struggled with my dry skin so I'm always up for trying new skincare products to see what might help me manage my dry skin day to day especially when as the weather goes cold as it's even harder. Recently, the lovely folks at Dermalogica sent me across their Phyto Nature Oxygen Cream to add into my skincare routine and see if it helped my dry skin.
I remember when this first launched and everyone raved about how this oxygen cream made your skin looked amazing from the first use. This moisturiser is a daily firming and lifting moisturiser that helps to revitalise the skin with oxygen-optimising phytoactives which is what helps to breathe new life into ageing skin. It's got Ligustrum Lucidum seed, glycogen, and Nasturtium flower which helps to optimise the skin's oxygenation process to boost luminosity and radiance. It's also got adaptogenic Astragalus and electric daisy flower which helps to smooth and tighten whilst the squalene and Luffa Root to firm and hydrate your skin. Finally, it includes Rose of Winter which helps soothe and boost the skin's resilience which helps leaves your skin looking revitalised and luminous.
I've tried using the Phyto Nature Oxygen Cream as a both a morning and evening night cream as I wanted to see how my skin helps my skin. I've mainly used this moisturiser at a night time so that I can I truly give it the time it needs to work on my skin and I've really loved how I wake up with plump, hydrated and glowing skin even after just using it for one night. I prefer to use this moisturiser on my no-makeup days so the glowing skin can really shine. I love pairing this moisturiser with the Pro-collagen Banking serum of an evening which really helps to plump and hydrate my skin.
I now completely understand why everyone completely raved about this product when it launched. It is a more luxury skincare product with it being £129 for a 50ml bottle so it isn't as budget friendly but as someone with really dry, dull looking skin especially in the winter I'm always interested in trying anything that's willing to tackle it. Also it I've been using it almost every night of the week since it arrived several weeks ago and it's still going strong with no sign of running out.
At the minute you can buy the cream on it's on but also in one of the amazing Christmas Lift & Firm sets that Dermalogica do either online or at one of their counters. In the set, you get the Phyto cream as well as the matching Phyto Nature firming serum as well as stainless steel guasha making it for the perfect gift for anyone whether they're a skincare fanatic or it's for someone in your life with more mature skin.
