It's been a little while since I've posted a blog post cause I've been deep in an ME/CFS flare and been putting any spare energy into working but I've now had to take some time off sick from work so I'm taking the time to work on some blog posts to give me a distraction from this flare. Before it all kicked off, I was kindly invited to Loretta's Parkside Tavern in Liverpool to try out their cocktail/mocktail menu so I thought I would share with you all.

Loretta's Parkside Tavern is situated at the top of Liverpool One and is an social media dream with the cosy interior, muted earth tones and plants making it the perfect place to visit for a little cocktail and relax with friends or family. It has a mixture of indoor and outdoor seating as well as having live music and DJ's from 7pm onwards.

I took my mum along with me to test out the mocktail menu and she got the chance to try out the cocktails in the last of the summer sun. The staff at Loretta's were all so lovely and helpful, gave us time to find seating and look at the menu before coming to take our drink order. As someone that doesn't really drink alcohol, I really like that Loretta's Tavern have a selection of mocktail options. The mocktails are all priced between £5.50 and £9 and as you can see from my pictures, they were good size mocktails for the price. I found the flavours to be the right combination of fresh and sweet.
My mum tried out the cocktails as she wasn't driving and she doesn't often get chance. The alcoholic cocktails are priced between £11 and £13 with a lot of them currently on the menu for buy one get one half price which is a bargain and perfect if you're going out for a date night with a partner or friends. All of the cocktails and mocktails tasted really good and the staff went above and beyond as well as giving us some really good cocktail recommendations. I'm definitely going to keep Loretta's Tavern in my rota for spots to head for drinks or coffee and a light bite.
What's your favourite mocktail?
