I am well and truly into my 30's so it's time to start looking after my skin and keep myself looking younger than I am. Thankfully I've had the chance to testing out the Lancome Renergie serum and moisturiser duo sent to me to show you all but they're also here to tackle the dry, dull skin as well as the fine lines that are finally starting to appear now that I'm in my 30's.

Now I've only ever tried some samples of the Lancome range so I was really excited when this Renergie serum and moisturiser arrived at my door. I was definitely in need of a new retinol serum so I was excited as the Renergie C.R.x triple serum retinol is a high performance serum that has 3 powerful active ingredients into one serum. It contains pure vitamin C, pure retinol and an X peptide which is designed to be a more potent retinol but still being a gentle, non-irritating retinol. The bottle for the serum is uniquely shaped and where the serum comes out at the top has 3 different cylinders that the ingredients are stored in then once you pump it out, you mix them together in your hands before applying it to your skin. The serum is designed to be integrated into a skin cycling function where you start using it for 1 out of 3 skincare days and slowly increasing the frequency.
I love whenever I get skincare products that are stored separately in the component, I think it's the feeling like a mini chemist doing the mixing when I apply my skincare. This serum pumps out and you can see 3 different formulas before you mix them and once mixed, it leaves a gorgeous glow to your skin and melts straight into your skin and leaves it with a satin, nourished feeling to your skin immediately after applying it. I really like that it doesn't have a scent so it's great if you prefer scent-free skincare. I have quite sensitive skin and rosacea on my cheeks so I've been doing the step introduction to prevent any irritation and so far I've had no problems with my skin being irritated. The serum is currently priced at £118 for a 50ml bottle.

The Renergie H.P.N. SPF50 cream is their first anti-ageing moisturiser that has their 300-peptide with UVMUNE technology powered with Mexoryl 400 for strong UV protection for your skin. As well as having UV protection, this moisturiser is designed to silky and velvety to the touch whilst also leaving your skin feeling soft and luminous.
Now this moisturiser I popped on for the first time and was genuinely shocked with how soft, hydrated and plumped my skin looked by the next morning compared to the before pictures where I had redness on my cheeks and irritation either side of my mouth. I've never been so surprised with the improvement in my skin from a skincare product and considering this moisturiser is £90 for a 50ml jar, it's a good job I'm so pleasantly surprised with this moisturiser (I'm secretly a cheap sake so not matter what I earn, it'll kill me spending money on more expensive items). The first time I trialled it, I actually used it over night and I was actually gobsmacked the next morning as it left my skin feeling so soft, hydrated and plump. I think I was so shocked because usually I have to be using a product for a little while before I notice the difference I did in one night. I've also used this moisturiser during the day and was really helped with makeup application as it left my skin hydrated and plump throughout the day.
