I've been really trying to look after the skin on my body at the moment, whilst I am better at doing my skincare consistently, I am not very good at taking good care of the skin on the rest of my body. Luckily it's like the folks at ARK Skincare just knew and offered to send along their conditioning body serum from their Body Beautiful range so I've been trying it out over the last couple of weeks and thought I would share it all with you.
Conditioning Body Serum
The conditioning body serum is designed as a treatment serum for your body to give you hydrated, glowing skin leaving it feeling smooth and supple. It features Abyssinian oil, Olive oil, Sacha Inchi oil, and Sweet Almond oil which helps intensively nourish and moisturise your skin. It also has bisabolol which is supposed to be a natural remedy for sensitive or irritated skin as well as vitamin E to help protect your skin from environmental pollution. This body serum has the most beautiful calming scent as it has rose, jasmine, orange flower, mandarin and patchouli essential oils which is perfect as I love using this serum after a shower in the evening and it's really calming and helps me to wind down for the evening.
I've been using this body serum for a little while now and love pairing it with a light body lotion in the evening and as a dry skin girly using the two together is absolute heaven for hydrating and nourishing your skin. Even in the winter, it'll be stunning layered with a thicker body butter. I tend to get straight out the shower and whilst my body is still damp, I pop this body serum on and it helps to lock in the remaining moisture on my skin before I top it with a body lotion/body butter.
I've noticed that my skin is a lot softer and hydrated on the days that I use them compared to when I forget to use it. When I'm having a boujee pamper evening, I'll add this body serum into my bath as a nourishing bath oil cause it's got such a gorgeous relaxing scent and it leaves you feeling silky soft when you get out the bath so it's a bonus all round. I do believe that ARK also tell you different ways that you can use this conditioning body serum. It's £35 for a 150ml bottle of the serum, now my only con about this product at the minute is that I would prefer it to have a pump on the bottle cause I have arthritis in one hand and once I start massaging it in my hands get a bit oily so picking up the bottle has lead to a couple of spills on accident.
