Event | New Launches From The Body Shop

Danielle Levy, The Body Shop, skincare blogger, Liverpool blogger, beauty blogger, Wirral blogger,

A little while back I was invited to an event at The Body Shop in Liverpool One but unfortunately I was on nights so I couldn't attend but they kindly invited me to come in on a different day to have a 1-1 with the lovely Bethany to talk about the new launches and everything they featured at the most recent event and of course I had to share with you all these new vitamin C launches.

Vitamin C New Launches
So if you didn't already know The Body Shop are having a bit of a packaging revamp and they've started with their Vitamin C range which I am in love with the new packaging design, it honestly looks so much more luxe than the old style. With the revamp of the packaging, they have released two new products, the Vitamin C Glow Cleansing Polish and the Vitamin C Overnight Glow Revealing Mask

The lovely Bethany gave me a little demo of the Vitamin C range on my hand and the different between my two weathered nurse hands was amazing. Of course I had to pick up the Glow Cleansing polish and the Overnight Glow Revealing mask while I use it the rest of my current vitamin C products. Bethany advised that the Glow Cleansing polish is gentle enough that it can be used everyday but for those who have more sensitive skin like myself I can slowly introduce it once or twice a week and build up depending on how my skin reacts to the exfoliation. This gel cleanser is filled with jojoba microbeads and perlite which is made from volcanic glass to gently buff away dead skin cells to give you brighter, smoother and softer skin. I've been using it once or twice a week in the morning and it's got a really lovely refreshing scent so it's perfect for helping waking myself up. If I tend to get irritated by exfoliating products, it's 100% my cheeks that will tell me about it, thankfully my skin hasn't had any reaction to the gentle, grainy texture of the Glow Cleansing polish and I'm slowly going to be adding it into my morning skincare routine more than once or twice a week.

I also picked up the Overnight Glow Revealing mask which is the second new launch to the Vitamin C range. This overnight mask is filled with vitamin C, AHA, and papaya enzymes which help to improve the radiance of your skin whilst also giving you a smoother, softer and more even skin tone. Because I have more sensitive skin, I've started off using this overnight mask once a mask particularly on the night after back to back shift at works as a way to help get more radiance, nourished skin. You might feel a little tingle when you're wearing the mask which is totally normal and is just the mask doing its job. I have pretty sensitive skin on my cheeks that'll be the number one spot I get any irritation and thankfully this overnight mask hasn't irritated it so I'm going to slowly introduce it more often during the week.

What's your favourite range from The Body Shop?
