Premium Luxury Skincare That's Also All Natural & Vegan | L'Aves Skincare

Danielle Levy, L'Aves Skincare, Premium Luxury skincare, skincare blogger, beauty blogger, Wirral blogger, Liverpool blogger,

I've noticed over the past couple of years, that it's not just the name of the brand you're using, people are really starting to focus on supporting brands that are cruelty-free, eco-friendly and don't test on animals which is amazing to see. As we all know, I have been suffering badly with maskne because I'm having to wear face masks for 11-13 hours a day at work so I've really been trying to find products that soothe my skin and deal with the breakouts so I jumped at the opportunity when the lovely folks at L'Aves offered to send me some of their all natural-vegan goodies to test out and try and soothe my skin.

L'Aves Skincare
L'Aves is a brand new name within the beauty industry. L'Aves believe that everyone's skin is unique and your skin reacts differently on a daily basis dependent on different factors like stress, environmental, and lifestyle. Their products are designed to care for your skin primarily by age, addressing the needs of your body and providing it with the perfect ingredients according what stage of life you're in. All of their formulas are vegan, cruelty-free, palm oil free and are all housed in eco-friendly packaging.

Rich Women - Rich routine riches aren't money - They're life values

The lovely folks at L'Aves kindly sent me across a couple of their products to add into my skincare routine and test out on my poor maskne prone skin. For the past couple of weeks I've rotated them into my skincare routine and I thought it was about time to share with you all how I got on with them. I love the packaging of the L'Aves skincare, they all come in glass bottles with bamboo style tops which makes it look even more luxurious especially if you have them out in your bathroom or on a vanity but for my clumsy self I have to be very careful not to accidentally knock it onto the floor. I've tested quite a few different skincare brands during my time being a blogger and I usually find that quite a few skincare brands tend to have the similar if not that same scent throughout their product line so I found it really refreshing that the L'Aves products I've tried have don't smell similar to each other.

Bright & Lift Facial Elixir
The Bright & Light Facial Elixir has definitely got to be my favourite out of the three products I've tried. It's designed to revive stressed skin, intensely nourish, restore elasticity, tackle fine lines and give your skin an instant lift. It can help to encourage the regeneration of skin cells and give you a lifted, glowing complexion and is even gentle enough to be used on your delicate under eye area to help reduce puffiness and brighten the area.

I've been applying a couple of drops of this elixir morning and night and of an evening I've been rolling it into my skin with a jade roller. It's more of an oil texture rather than a serum but it literally melts straight into my skin and leaves my skin feeling so soft and nourished. Previously when I've used facial oils, I feel like most of it just sits on my fingers and doesn't actually feel like it's on my skin whereas with the Bright & Lift Elixir I don't have this at all, it just absorbs straight into my skin. I absolutely love the smell of the elixir, I can't place what the scent is but it reminds me so much of something from when I was younger. Also I don't know about you but I'm more likely to use something when I should if it also smells amazing!

Botanical Rain Mist + B3
Since this Summer and going back to work, I've become a big fan of facial mists not only when I'm doing my skincare routine but also for refreshing my face throughout the day. I've also found it especially helpful when I wake up from my sleeping break at work as it helps to refresh me and wake up back up. The Botanical Rain Mist + B3 Face Toner contains rose, rosemary, lavender, neroli and chamomile to help deeply hydrate, soothe and leave you with glowing skin.

I've been using this morning and evening after I've finished applying my skincare as an added hit of hydration, I've also been using it for it's toning benefits by spraying it on a cotton pad then wiping it over my face to tone my skin after cleansing it. Now I've tested quite a few facial mists in my time and my only quip with the Botanical Rain Mist is that I find my bottle sprays out really heavy at times and I have to hold it at a full arms length away otherwise the spray is a bit too powerful for my skin but other than that small quip I've really been loving it, especially putting it in the fridge before I use it to make it nice and cold which really refreshes my skin.

Smart Gel Cleanser
At the minute the standard I hold my cleansers too is very high as I need it to really tackle all my blemishes from wearing face masks so much whilst helping to nourish my dry skin. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the Smart Gel Cleanser is designed to deeply cleanse to banish breakouts, soothe irritation and keep my skin soft and nourished.

I am really putting my cleansers through their paces at the moment cause my face is so irritated and I feel like I've got breakouts left, right, and centre so trying out new cleansers really have their work cut out for them. Now I hate using cleansers where you feel like your face is dry and squeaky once I've washed my face, thankfully with the Smart Gel Cleanser, my skin feels clean but it doesn't feel like it's been stripped with every ounce of moisture which is so important cause half of my breakouts are causing by the face masks and the other half is caused by my skin becoming so dry. This cleanser is filled with apple, grapefruit, lemon, lemongrass and papaya so it's really refreshing and invigorating especially when you use it in the morning, it really helps to wake me up when I've just rolled out of bed.

I've been loving trying out these couple of bits from L'Aves and I'm definitely going to be not only looking at getting some more of the skincare especially the face masks but I'd also love to try out some of their haircare products. I would love to see L'Aves release a vegan, cruelty-free makeup remover to complete the skincare routine!
