Every year I love heading to my local The Body Shop in Liverpool One to check out their new Christmas scents and this year for me they have definitely smashed it out of the park! A couple of weeks ago I got the chance to go to a blogger event for the new Christmas scents and their new environmentally friendly gifting.

Unfortunately for this year's event, I couldn't stay for the full event as I had to head off to work for a night shift but I had just enough time to listen to the talk about the new scents and new environmentally friendly packaging for all the Christmas gifts and get in a little bit of Christmas shopping in before I had to head off to work.

This year there are three scents that have been released are Vanilla Marshmallow, Peppermint Candy Cane, and Berry Bon Bon. My favourites this year has got to be the Vanilla Marshmallow and Peppermint Candy Cane, I love peppermint at this time of year and the vanilla marshmallow gives some much-needed sweetness. Each of the new Christmas scents come in a shower gel, body butter, hand cream, bath foam, soap, body lotion, shimmer mist and body scrub. Not only do the scents ring true of Christmas for me, the packaging of them really screams Christmas for me, the red, green and gold.

All of the gifting this year have been revamped to be more environmentally friendly so you can still spoil your favourite people rotten and be caring for the environment at the same time! All of gifts sets come in more condensed sets so there is less additional packaging, you can also get the super cute reusable drawstring gift bags. I personally love that there is less packaging as one it's better for the environment and there is less packaging that you have to chuck away at Christmas!

Of course, I couldn't leave the blogging event without picking up a couple of new bits to try out! I had to go for some bits from the Peppermint Candy Cane and Vanilla Marshmallow ranges, I also had to pick up a couple of the new makeup items that have been released just in time for the festive period. I went for the Sparkling Lipstick in Scarlett Sunrise and the Metal Eye Liquid in Gold Carat and Rust Bronze. I had such a fab time at the event and it was so lovely to see everyone for a Christmassy evening, even if I did have to run off to work pretty sharpest afterwards!

What's your favourite scent from their Christmas range?

Speak to you next time!
