I've quickly become a fan of Hourglass and I 100% blame Lynsey for introducing me to it but also all the lovely folks at the Hourglass counter in Flannels Liverpool because they've all been introducing me to the products including the new launches when they come out as well as how to get the most out of my Hourglass products. Recently they launched some new shades in my favourite Phantom Volumizing Glossy Balms and thanks to Merseyrail and problems with those new trains, I missed the masterclass so they kindly invited me back to check out the new shades with a 1:1 appointment with Molly.
Flannels Liverpool
If you haven't already visited the Hourglass counter in Flannels Liverpool, where have you been?! Everyone that works on the counters is so lovely but I highly recommend getting in touch with Molly and booking an appointment with her to get your makeup done. The counter is right there on the right when you walk in the main door, right next to the Tom Ford and Dermalogica counter so it's perfect for getting your skincare, makeup and fragrance sorted in one go!
New Launches
To kick off 2024, Hourglass Cosmetics have launched some new lip products including additions their Phantom Volumizing glossy balm range, Shape & Sculpt lip liners, and the Unlocked lipsticks. We all know that I've quickly fell in love with the Phantom glossy balm range and at Christmas they released a set that had one of the limited edition shades Crave that has just launched inside the set. To go with Crave, they've released another 3 shades totalling 4 new shades in total. You can get your hands on the shades Rouse (a true chestnut), Crave (a warm pink), Wish (a warm peach), and Reveal (a true pink). My favourite shade has definitely got to be Crave, Molly used it in combination with Unlocked lipstick in Flora and it was the perfect lip combo for me!
Their new Shape & Sculpt lip liners are such a gorgeous creamy lip liners particularly for me even with my dry lips, they went on so smoothly and stayed in place all day even through hot chocolate, coffee and 2 meals. It was applied at about 10am and when I went to take my makeup off at about 9pm, the lip liner was still there and hadn't budged at all. Now I didn't try the new Soft Matte Unlocked lipsticks because I have more dry lips so I went for the Satin Creme one but the shades were so pretty and are primer-infused lipsticks to help lock your colour in all day!
I ended up coming home with the Unlocked Satin Creme lipstick in Flora which is a stunning berry rose shade. These lipsticks have mango seed butter, avocado oil and argan oil to give you a really hydrating formula that leaves your lips feeling comfortable and hydrated all day. I really like that the bullet has a really precise shape so you can use the edge to line your lips before filling them in with the bullet. Even with my dry lips, it perfectly disguised how dry they were and left them feeling soft and hydrated.
I am absolutely loving the makeup look that Molly did, she's so incredible and has such an eye for detail. You can either book an appointment with Molly for the Total Impact which give you the 45 minute Hourglass experiences for £65 or get one of the Curated Beauty Experiences which is 4 different services range from 15 to 30 minutes that focused on either your eyes, Hourglass essentials, signature glow and all about skincare.
