I was absolutely gutted to have missed out on the SG Creative birthday party in 2024 so when the invite came through for the 3rd birthday in 2025, you know I jumped at the chance to go along. It's become a little tradition for the SG Creative birthday celebrations to be hosted at Tempest on Tithebarn which I love cause they do the best mocktails.
SG Creative is a local Wirral based business that has gone from strength to strength over the last 3 years. They specialise in wedding stationery, foil vouchers and map prints. As a forever single person, I have yet to need wedding stationery but what I have seen of it on social media and her website, it's all so beautiful. I've ordered a few bits from the foil vouchers, map prints and she even made a custom menu design for a birthday gift and they all came looking beautiful and came super fast.
The 3rd birthday celebrations were hosted in the private room in Tempest on Tithebarn in Liverpool's city centre. There was a lovely small group of us there and after a discussion about the business, where it started and how it's progressed over the last 3 years before we got into the crafting events for the evening. We got the chance to make beaded bow decorations which was perfect for our christmas trees and we also got the chance to make phone charms.
I loved the crafting idea for the party as it all allowed us to get creative and make things that match us and our personalities but it also got a bunch of women who didn't know each other to get chatting and laughing whilst making crafts. I ended up coming away with a really pretty bow tree decoration and a personalised Christmas phone charm but it also lit the creative fire in me and since the event I've gotten really into crocheting, something I'd never tried before so I'm forever thankful for that. It was such a fun evening and I was so honoured to be invited along.
