Review | Dermalogica Daily Glycolic Cleanser

Danielle Levy, Dermalogica, Dermalogica daily glycolic cleanser, beauty blogger, skincare blogger, Liverpool blogger, Wirral blogger,

Dermalogica have been coming out with so many amazing launches so far this year including this Daily Glycolic Cleanser as I've got sensitive skin, I've slowly been adding it into my skincare routine and testing it out so I thought it was about time that I shared my review of it with you all.

Dermalogica Daily Glycolic Cleanser
The new Dermalogica Daily Glycolic Cleanser is designed to help brighten and renew your skin (perfect for refreshing your skin for spring/summer), to refresh dull/uneven skin tones as well as removing build up from environmental factors. The glycolic acid in it helps to brighten your skin by removing dull dead skin cells, whilst the calendula extract and jojoba seed oil helps to condition and replenish you skin by helping to maintain your skin's lipid barrier. You get a 150ml bottle of the daily glycolic cleanser for £35.

My Experience
After the daily glycolic cleanser arrived on my doorstep, Dermalogica kindly invited me to a masterclass all about it which was really interesting cause not only did they tell us all about it, they also told us some of their top tips for using it including for those with sensitive skin. Because I've got more sensitive skin, I've followed Dermalogica's recommendations and slowly introduced my skin to it and not used it every single day, twice a day so my skin didn't completely freak out. I started off just adding it in once a week usually with my evening skincare routine and I slowly built up to 2-3 times a week in my evening skincare routine.

I took the introduction into the daily glycolic cleanser really slowly as my skin initially was a bit unsure and had a mini freak out when I first started using it where my skin would go a bit tight after using and I'd get a breakout or two the next morning. However I bared with it and after using it once a week for 3 weeks, my skin slowly got used to it and stopped these mini freak outs and instead I found that my skin started to have a little lit from within glow after using it. I did also notice that the day after I'd used it, my makeup sat a little better as it really did help tackle my dry skin. I really like that the cleanser is thicker in texture compared to my other Dermalogica cleansers and it has a really nice fresh scent to it so it could be really refreshing to use in the morning.

It's £35 for a 150ml bottle so it is a little bit more of a luxury side of skincare but it is on par with the rest of Dermalogica's cleansers. Because I only use this cleanser a few times a week, it really has lasted me and I love how it helps me tackle my dry skin and brighten my skin.
