The days are getting colder and colder so it's time to up our skincare and really nourish our skin while we're battling the elements. I had a package of goodies from Nivea arrive on my doorstep at just the right time so I thought I would share my initial thoughts on the Autumn goodies that arrived and what I'm planning to use to nourish my skin this Autumn.

Q10 Energy
I don't know about you but come Autumn/Winter time, my skin is really feeling the brunt of it. I tend to find that my skin looks more tired, dry and dull so this day and night cream from the Q10 Energy range are right up my street at the moment. The Q10 Energy Healthy Glow day cream is designed with vitamin C, E, and skin identical Q10 to give your skin a healthy, energised glow. It is supposed to give you a 24 hour healthy glow to your skin whilst helping to reduce fine lines and wrinkles in just two weeks as well as helping to alleviate signs of tiredness and fatigue. Normally with moisturisers with vitamin C, they have an overwhelming citrus scent, but this day cream has got such a nice fresh, subtle scent so it's perfect for helping to wake you up on these cold, dark mornings. It is a thicker moisturiser so perfect if you need a bit of extra nourishment this Autumn but I found it melted so quickly into my skin so you haven't got any of that greasy, shiny feeling while you're waiting for it to sink in.

The Q10 Energy Recharging night cream is the first night cream that I've ever tried from Nivea but I have been so excited to be trying this one out cause it sounds incredible. The Recharging night cream has similar key features as the day cream but it also helps to improve your skin's moisture lock-in, as well as helping to strengthen your skin's barrier to give you fresher, more radiant looking skin by the morning. The night cream has the same fresh scent as the day cream but with a little bit more of a citrus hit. You can definitely feel the difference between the night and day cream, the night moisturiser is thicker and does put a slight layer on your skin but it doesn't leave you looking greasy, it's more that satin look. Having used this every night for a little while now, I've noticed that when I wake up my skin definitely looks brighter and more refreshed. I've also noticed that I'm waking up with less maskne and breakouts too!

Naturally Good
I've tried one of the Fresh Blends shower gels earlier this year so I was really excited to try the new Naturally Good Honeysuckle shower gel that was in my package. This shower gel has a vegan, biodegradable formula that is 98% percent all natural, it is designed to give you lasting skin comfort with skin caring ingredients. The honeysuckle scent is such a really nice, subtle scent that layers beautifully with other body care products. Especially with the weather getting colder at the moment, having a shower like this honeysuckle one really helps nourish whilst also cleansing my skin as I can sometimes have some girl lazy days where I 'forget' to moisturise my body so this really gives me a two-in-one for only £3.99.
