The goal of today is to help raise mental health awareness and how everyone of us can help correct the unequal life that people with mental health illness are going through. World Mental Health Day
Mental health illnesses is a growing public health concern, not only within the UK but throughout the world. It is currently estimated that 1 in 6 people will experience a common mental health problem. Within the UK, mixed anxiety and depression is the most common within the UK. Today is World Mental Health day and in 2021 we're all being encouraged to 'Do One Thing' to support not only our own mental health but also helping to support those around us. 

The Anti-burnout Club
In a world where we are all glued to our phones, the Anti-Burnout Club have created an online wellness platform for those that are sick of the hustle mentality and want to change their approach. Inside the platform you get access to a curated monthly wellbeing calendar full of challenges and lessons, over 150 on-demand wellness courses and videos, monthly acts of kindness, and 20% off any goodies in the Anti-Burnout Club shop. On the Anti-Burnout Club website, they not only have the membership but you can also find their blog featuring articles that related to the different course in the membership, they also have a shop where you can buy some super cute goodies for yourself or as a present for a loved one. 

The lovely folks at the Anti-Burnout Club kindly gifted me a 3-month subscription to their platform for me to test out and honestly it could not have come at a greater time. Especially this past week, my anxiety seems to have really flared up and when it really rears it's ugly head, I notice that other areas of my life such as my nutrition and motivation/productivity has really fallen by the way side. 

I love that each course within the platform comes with easy to digest videos that are like 10-15 minutes long so they are literally so easy to pop on quickly and fit into your day, I've been loving popping it on whilst I'm taking the time to eat my breakfast and it works really well with my daily routine. If I find that I've got more time during the day, I will do more than one session at a time. I really love that the Anti-Burnout Club also offer a recipe section filled with lots of yummy, healthy recipes. I find it so hard not to eat the same couple of quick recipes when I'm feeling a bit rubbish. I've even picked a handful of their quick and easy recipes to add into my week, so I'm excited to see how adding in these recipes improve how I feeling and my energy levels.
