Is anyone else just in complete shock that we're already at the end of September?! I was shocked at myself that I was already started a list of gift ideas for my friends and family for Christmas. This month for me personally has been a little bit of a write off due to health reasons but I've been really happy with my personal life. So let's just get on with the beauty and life things that I've been loving during September.

Kally Sports Recovery Pillow
September has been the month of injuries and fibro flare ups so my everyday essential has been my Sports Recovery pillow from Kally Sleep. They kindly sent me this pillow back in Spring/Summer and I've honestly been obsessed with it since then. The Sports Recovery pillow is designed to reduce pressure on key joints to help reduce pain or discomfort as well as helping with muscle recovery.

This month I haven't been able to do my usual weighted workouts with Suraj so I've been using the Sports Recovery pillow to help me sleep on my back and to take the pressure off my back and shoulder which has significantly improved my pain on bad pain nights because obviously if I'm not lying on it, I'm not constantly aggravating it. Kally Sleep don't just do body pillows, they literally have every single pillow you could think of and on their website you can actually go on to do their Perfect Pillow quiz to find out the best pillow for you. I know I've certainly got my eyes on a couple of their pillows.

Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant
This month has truly been a mix of the seasons and my skin has not been here for it. Between the mini heatwave we had and the rainy weather, my skin just hasn't known what is going on and has completely freaked out. Thankfully the Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant has been saving my skin at the moment, it's a rice based powder that turns into a paste/foam dependent on how much water you mix it with. I've been using the Daily Microfoliant morning and night after my double cleanse. I find it gentle enough to use on my more sensitive skin (I've also got my mum into it and she has very sensitive skin).

I won't lie, don't always religiously use it, usually in the Summer I'm not as good as and might only do it once a day. But as soon as the cold dreary weather comes along, I get a lot stricter with myself about using it. I find that using the Daily Microfoliant morning and night alongside the rest of my skincare routine, it really makes the difference in making my skin look and feel less dull and more radiant.

Dermalogica Biolumin-C Moisturiser
The Biolumin-C moisturiser is one of Dermalogica's latest launches but is a great addition to the Biolumin-C range, I have tried the face serum and eye serum from this range in the past and loved them so I was over the moon when I opened the box to the new Biolumin-C moisturiser. It helps to give you brighter, more hydrated skin with Dermalogica's boosted ultra-stable vitamin C complex, squalane, hyaluronic acid, phytic acid, and pumpkin enzymes.

The whole Biolumin-C range has a great citrus scent and honestly leaves my skin glowing. The Biolumin-C moisturiser is more of a gel moisturiser so it's really lightweight and cooling when applied. I really love using this moisturiser especially on days where I'm having a no makeup day because it's leaves my skin looking so fresh and glowing. Not only does it leave your skin looking more radiant when you first use it, it's also designed to make your brighten your skin and make it more radiant over time.

IDentity Lingerie Japanese Silk Short Pjs
I was introduced to IDentity lingerie during September (keep your eyes peeled cause there are going to be a couple more blog posts about IDentity Lingerie coming up very soon!) and honestly I am obsessed with their products. I've got a couple of pieces from them but I'm obsessed with these blush pink Japanese Silk Short Pjs at the moment. These pjs are ethically made and designed to be for everyone, no matter your height or body type. Now I am normally very hit and miss with button up shirts for pjs because I'm a G cup so 9/10 the buttons at the top would not stay closed.

The Japanese Silk Short Pjs are the softest, most luxurious pjs I think I've ever had. They are a bit more of a splurge for pjs but I really love that IDentity Lingerie actually give you the options of standard S, M, L, etc sizing but they have an option on their website where you can fully customise everything about your pjs, from the colour fabric and piping to the sleeve/bottom length as well as the custom to your body measurements and height. I've tried silk pjs before and they only tend to look good for the first couple of wears then once you've washed them they tend to don't look as good. Thankfully I've washed the IDentity Lingerie silk pjs a couple of times and they literally come out like brand new.

Mayraki Silky Smooth Proactive Hair Treatment
I haven't had my hair done with the Wellaplex (Wella's version of Olaplex) in over a month so my hair is definitely feeling it so when this happens I love using the Mayraki Silky Smooth Proactive hair treatment as a hair mask to really nourish my hair. I've been really loving doing a double shampoo then popping this hair treatment into my hair, clipping it up and leaving it on for a good hour before washing it off in the shower.

It's filled with natural collagen, Camellia Reticulata seed oil, Ginkgo Biloba leaf extract, Aloe Barbadensis extract, Macadamia Ternifolia extract, Rosa Rugosa flower extract, and Hydrolyzed wheat protein. I noticed that the Mayraki Silky Smooth Proactive hair treatment left my hair feeling and looking super soft even from the first wash and it also left my hair smelling amazing. I have got quite a few baby hairs growing through that usually stick up after I wash my hair and I've noticed that on the days I use this hair treatment, these flyaways aren't nowhere near as bad! It is £28.85 for a 300ml bottle with a pump, I use about a pump and a half every time I use it which is roughly every 2 weeks. I've found my current bottle has lasted me about 8 months now so you really get to get your money's worth.

What have you been loving this month?

Speak to you next time!
