Review | Theenk Tea 21-Day Program Diary

Danielle Levy, Theenk Tea, health blogger, lifestyle blogger, Wirral blogger, Liverpool blogger,

I've had a B12 deficiency since my late teens and honestly since my fibromyalgia diagnosis I've struggled so much with my energy levels, brain fog and concentration, especially if I'm off work I seem to struggle so much with my mid-day crash where all you wanna do is go take a nap. For the past couple of weeks I've been trying out the Theenk Tea 21-Day program and thought I would share with you all my little diary of my journey and how I got on with the program.

Theenk Tea
Theenk Tea was invented to be your new best friend in helping you to achieve all the goals you set for yourself in a way that helps, not harms you in the long run. Theenk Tea offer the 21-day program and individual teas as well as five different wellness gift boxes. All of their teas are a carefully selected blend of herbs that are used in Ayurvedic medicine (one of the worlds oldest holistic healing systems) to help improve memory, concentration, and adaptation to stress.

The Theenk Tea 21-day program comes with 3 different blended teas, a brain boosting eating plan, a habit tracker and a guide. The guide included in the 21-day program tells you about the different teas, the herbs included in them and when to take them for the best results. Theenk Tea recommend that you use the 3 teas a day for 12 consecutive weeks then have a month long break to get the best results.

Week 1
I found that it took me a little bit of time to get used to the herbal teas as I'm not normally a herbal tea drinker. I loved that the guide tells you a little bit about each of the teas and when they're best to use them. With starting the Theenk Tea 21-day program I wanted to use it to help me make some changes and set some new routines into my life. As I'm someone who normally drinks a strong coffee when I first wake up and caffeine throughout the day so the first week I did notice a little bit of caffeine withdrawal (headaches and tiredness), but I'd already been told that I needed to bring down my levels of caffeine so this 21-day program came at the perfect time.

I paired the Theenk Tea program with making changes to my diet, filling it with brain boosting food as well as being more active. I really liked that Theenk don't suggest a complete diet upheaval but that you slowly make changes and add more cleaner, brain boosting food to your plates at each meal so you're more likely to stick to it and you're also going to enjoy the meals.

Week 2
With the start of week 2, I found it easier to get into a routine on my days off from work. I started to take time out in the morning to take some time for myself before I get on with my to-do lists, no phone, no social media. I've come to love taking the time in the morning to sit and read whilst I drink the Morning Glory tea (all of the teas I drank with a little bit of honey in to give it a bit of sweetness). During week 2, I noticed that I wasn't finding the mid-afternoon slump I usually get and on the couple of days that I did get it, it wasn't half as bad as it usually is. During week 2, I starting to take 45-60 minutes out after lunch to take my hot Afternoon Madness tea out with me and the dog to get some fresh air and be able to get my steps in for the day. I found that this helped me to refresh and be ready to work my butt off for the rest of the afternoon.

Week 3
During week 3, I noticed the biggest improvement. I found that my mood and energy levels had massively improved and stabilised. With the reduction in caffeine, I did notice that my anxiety improved and I was actually able to wind down and really relax of an evening. I also noticed that the quality of sleep improved massively by the third week which I'm really happy with as that alongside with anxiety was my biggest burden that I was hoping to tackle with this program. I found that throughout the past couple of weeks having a routine really helped me be so much more productive than I usually am and I was managing to get all of my to-do list checked off before lunchtime which impressed me the most.

I was really impressed with the changes I was able to make throughout the 3 weeks of trying the Theenk Tea Program. I can see me picking up more of the Afternoon Madness and Evening Delight teas as they were definitely my favourite teas and really helped me throughout the day. I'll definitely be continuing some of the tricks I picked up whilst doing the 21-Day Program and continuing it in my day to day life.
