It is always a great day when a Dermalogica package arrives on my doorstep, especially when it contains one of their latest launches. This time around the new launch was the Melting Moisture Masque which is made for my dry skin and after testing it out for a little while, I thought it was about time to let you guys in on my new dry skin saviour.

Melting Moisture Masque
The Melting Moisture Masque is the brand new moisturising overnight face masque from Dermalogica. The masque comes out as a balm and is then activated my your skin's heat and turns into an oil which penetrates into your skin to deeply nourish and rehydrate your skin. It's filled with micro-algae's, linoleic acid, and vitamin E which help to soothe and protect your skin whilst also nourishing. It is £59 for a 50ml bottle so it is a bit more on the pricey side for a face masque but a little of this goes far (even Dermalogica only suggest a pea sized amount for your entire face) so be mindful before you go squeezing most of it out and not using it.

My Experiences
I've used this Melting Moisture Masque quite a few times now and I've really been loving using it. I just press and hold the pump down until a pea sized amount comes out and then dot it over my face before rubbing it in and that amount works perfectly for me. Dermalogica recommend that once it's rubbed in you can blot an excess off but cause my skin is quite dry so I find that I normally don't need to blot it unless I put a silly amount on my face as my skin just soaks it all in.

I tend to use the Melting Moisture Masque before and after I've got a set of shifts together as I find that it helps to give my skin some much needed moisture that the face masks at work just suck out of my skin and honestly it just works perfectly for me. I've no doubt that once we hit autumn, this masque is going to be in constant use cause it's just perfect to nourish your skin when the weathers all cold. I tend to get dry patches on my cheeks, forehead, and around any breakouts and I've found that using the Melting Moisture Masque twice a week has really helped improve how these drier areas look the next morning. I can quickly see this face masque quickly becoming an autumn/winter essential of mine.

Is this your dry skin saviour?

Speak to you next time!
