Danielle Levy, Keys Soulcare Skincare, Alicia Keys, beauty blogger, Liverpool blogger, skincare blogger, Wirral blogger,

Is anyone else super excited to hear that Alicia Keys has released her own line of skincare?! I was so excited when this little package containing a couple of the new Keys Soulcare products arrived on my doorstep cause I remember loving her music back when I was in high school, so I couldn't wait to get them out and start testing her new skincare range!

Keys Soulcare
Keys Soulcare is designed with skin nourishing ingredients, clean formulas and soul nurturing rituals. Alicia Keys designed the formulas for each product alongside the Keys Soulcare team and dermatologist Dr Renee Snyder to give you the best skin loving products, with each products containing potent yet gentle ingredients. Each product in Keys Soulcare is designed to be not just a skincare product but it's infused with intention to honour the connection between your skin and your soul. It's not just taking care of your skin, you're practising self care!

I am layered, complex and divine

Be Luminous Exfoliator
The Be Luminous exfoliator is a water activated exfoliator that then turns into a foam which gently exfoliates to give you softer, smoother skin whilst also making your skin look more luminous. It's filled with Hojicha powder which is a gentle, non-stripping exfoliator, lactic acid which helps your skin look brighter, mung beans which help buff away dull skin, and oats which help to smooth and calm skin.

I have such dry and dehydrated skin so I am all for trying new facial exfoliators so I think I was the most excited to try the Be Luminous exfoliator. You get a 65g jar for £22, it is a more luxury price point but I find that I only need a small amount, about the size of a 2p coin, so it's already lasting me a while because I find that I only need to use it about twice a week (three times a week during the colder months). I love using this exfoliator on my pamper nights as it's got such a calming, relaxing scent and I use the time I'm rubbing it into my skin to reflect on my day/week and how I'm feeling. My skin feels so soft after I've applied this and surprisingly it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin either.

I welcome all circumstances as catalysts for change

Skin Transformation Cream
The Skin Transformation cream is a cream moisturiser that is supposed to help hydrate, nourish, and plump whilst also calming and soothing your skin. It's filled with Bakuchiol which is a plant-based alternative to retinol, malachite which has been used for years to cleanse, purify, and calm your spirit, ceramides which help to replenish the skin's natural barrier to improve hydration, and hyaluronic acid which help to infuse your skin with moisture to give you plumper, smoother and more supple looking skin. You can get your hands on a 50g jar for £30.

I love that the Skin Transformation cream is a thicker cream moisturiser as it's perfect for my dry skin year round. Whilst it is thicker texture when you initially scoop it out of the jar, it literally melts into my skin and gave my skin a satin feeling to it. I don't know what it is about the scent of this moisturiser but honestly it's unlike any I've previously tried and it's got such uplifting scent to it. I am so picky with moisturisers particularly if I'm not going to be wearing any makeup during the day as I've noticed that some will actually pill up on my face throughout the day but the Skin Transformation cream doesn't, it leaves my skin feeling so soft and with a satin finish that lasts all day.

I surround myself with things that are good for me

Comforting Balm
The Comforting Balm is a great multi-use soothing balm that can be used on your face and body, basically anywhere you needed an added hit of hydration. It's filled with camellia seed oil which helps to deeply hydrate your skin, rose of Jericho which helps to infuse skin with lasting hydration, avocado oil which helps to renew the look of dull and dehydrated skin, and Shea butter which has been used for years to hydrate, calm, and soothe your skin. You get a 7.5g jar of product for £10.

I am so bad for forgetting to put lip balm on on a regular basis so I either keep this on my bedside table, handbag, and coat pockets. It literally goes everywhere with me! This Comforting Balm goes on so silky, I've mainly been using it on my lips and a small amount on my cuticles because my hands get so wrecked with all the hand washing and alcohol gel in work. For me the Shea butter really comes in the scent but it's not an obnoxious, overwhelming scent. It honestly leaves my lips silky soft and I've actually been loving applying it first thing then doing my skincare and makeup routine and by the time I've gotten to my lips, it's melted into my lips and it's the perfect base for my lip products.

Who wants some Keys skincare?
