July Favourites

Danielle Levy, July Favourites, beauty blogger, Wirral blogger, Liverpool blogger,

I feel like I just blinked and that past month has just disappeared, I blinked at the beginning of July and it's almost August and I'm looking forward to my friend's wedding! With the end of any month comes my monthly favourites. This month it's a mixture of beauty and lifestyle products because it's been too hot for me to do anything other than skincare.

Garnier Sheet Masks
I've been a big fan of the Garnier sheet masks since they first came out but this month I picked up the Moisture Bomb Night Time sheet mask which is designed specifically for use before bed to help repair the skin's barrier and soothe tired skin. I used this face mask before my mum's wedding after a late night with the bride and other bridesmaids and honestly my skin was so soft and refreshed the next morning. It's perfect for using before bed as it's got such a lovely calming scent to it so it really helps you to relax and unwind for bed.

Nivea Micellar Water
I always have Nivea Micellar Water on my makeup/skincare station because it's so handy either to initially remove my makeup before my double cleanse, to tackle my heavy, waterproof eye makeup or if I'm being girl lazy after a night shift! The current Nivea Micellar Water I'm using is the Naturally Good Micellar Water and it is just amazing, it's filled with 97% natural ingredients and Aloe Vera so it's really soothing and refreshing without irritating your skin. It's only £5.99 for a huge 400ml bottle so it's great value for money and at the moment for every bottle of Naturally Good Micellar Water purchased, they're actually donating a bottle to The Hygiene Bank.

ARK Regenerating Night Treatment
I've been a huge fan of ARK products for the past couple of years and seen as I'm only a few years away from 30, I've started using their Regenerating Night Treatment in my evening skincare routine. This night cream has a vegan formula that contains bioactive ingredients to detoxify and repair your skin as well as improving hydration and elasticity. I've loved how hydrated it left my skin the next morning and as someone who can get easily irritated on my cheeks by skincare products, I found that I woke up with no irritation at all! I've even had my mum who is approaching her 50's try it and has even more sensitive skin than me and it didn't irritate her at all and left her skin glowing.

Elemis Cleansing Balm
Since I started cleansing my skin in my teens, I've always gone for balms or oils because of my dry skin and I finally got around to trying the cult favourite, the Elemis Pro-collagen Rose Cleansing Balm. I decided to go for the rose version because I'm loving anything rose scented at the moment. I find I only need a small amount of this Elemis cleansing balm to tackle a full face of full-coverage foundation and waterproof mascara, it literally melts away my makeup without a load of rubbing and tugging on your skin. I like that it doesn't leave my skin feeling stripped and dried out but it leaves it feeling super soft.

Rainbow Rocks Blossom Jewellery
I've been a big fan of Rainbow Rocks jewellery since I found them on Instagram a year ago and I decided to pick up my jewellery for my mum's wedding from Iris cause she has the most beautiful gemstone jewellery. I decided to go for the Blossom rose quartz necklace and earrings to compliment my bridesmaid dress from Goddiva. I thought it was ironic I'd chosen to wear rose quartz jewellery for my mum's wedding as rose quartz is the crystal of unconditional love and is supposed to be for compassion, peace, tenderness, healing, nourishment and comfort. Not only did Iris get the jewellery out to me super fast but I love that lots of her pieces can be either dressed up or dressed down depending on the occasion so it means I'm going to get more bang for my buck with her jewellery.

What have you been loving this month?

Speak to you next time!
