My June Favourites

Danielle Levy, June Favourites, Antipodes Skincare, To The Moon, Lush, Lush Snow Fairy, beauty blogger, Wirral blogger, Liverpool blogger,

I cannot believe that we're already at the middle of 2021 already, I feel like we literally just had Christmas and I've already seen people on social media talking about getting ready for this Christmas. I'm still living in Summer mode so let's just get on with talking all about some of my favourite things during June.

Lush Snow Fairy Body Spray
I always use body sprays for work because they are usually more lightweight than standard perfumes, I tend to wear heavier, muskier perfumes so I don't really wear them to work cause I wouldn't want to overwhelm my patients who are already feeling pretty rubbish after surgery. I have been a huge fan of the iconic Snow Fairy scent since I've shopped at Lush so I had to pick up the Snow Fairy Body Spray last Christmas and I've been trying to spread it out and make it last until I get another bottle this Christmas. They are £20-25 for a 200ml bottle so they're a little bit more expensive and not so portable but honestly for the scent it's so worth it. I usually put a couple of spritzes on at like 5.30am when I get dressed and whenever I apply it after a couple of hours, I won't notice the scent but even towards the end of my 13hr shifts, my colleagues and patients will mention it so it really does have that long-lasting scent.

To The Moon Candles
I've spoken about the wonderful Jess's To The Moon candles and they're in so many of my Instagram posts because her candles and home fragrances are just incredible! Particularly the Snuggle Up scent I have in literally every form, I have the reed diffuser and candle out in my bedroom. Snuggle Up is a blend of magnolia, vanilla, musk, and sandalwood and whilst it came out as Autumnal scent, for me it's the perfect year round scent. You can get one of her  100% natural, vegan soy candles for only £20 and you get a burn time of over 30 hours. Honestly I find you get so much more out of her candles, I burn them until there is a even pool of wax on the top then blow them out and even once blown out, they leave the room I was burning them in smelling incredible!

Dermalogica Protection 50 Sport
I featured this Dermalogica Protection 50 Sport SPF in my last blog post but since it arrived I've been using it everyday as a body SPF and honestly I've been loving it! It is an SPF 50 so perfect for my milk bottle self but it's also water resistant for up to 80 minutes so it's perfect if you are planning to go away somewhere with a beach or pool later this year. I really love that the Protection 50 Sport has a satin finish that dries down almost instantly with a really nice fresh scent. I really wish they did this in a mini purse-friendly size so I can take it on the go with me and top up protection if I'm out in the sun all day.

Antipodes Skincare
I've been a big fan of Antipodes skincare for the past year and this month two of their products are in my monthly favourites, the Manuka Honey eye cream and Culture Probiotic Night Recovery cream. I have been using the Manuka Honey eye cream morning and night and I love how nourishing it is for my dry skin, especially when the months get colder. You get a little 30ml jar for £36 and a little bit of this eye cream goes a long way, I find that I only need a small amount on my ring finger for both eyes.

The Culture Probiotic Night Recovery cream is a newer introduction to my skincare routine but it's very much become a nightly favourite for a while now. This is another product that I will be doing a full in depth review about but I love how lightweight this night cream is, it literally melts into my skin and leaves it so soft and plump in the morning. Whilst it's been really hot this month, I've actually been putting it in the fridge for a little bit before I apply it to really cool down my skin and honestly it's been so welcome in this heat. I find the scent of this night cream so relaxing, it really helps me to wind down after a long day and start getting ready for bed.

LilSpa Regenerating Hemp Seed Face Oil
I've been a regular customer of LilSpa for over a year now and I've been over the moon every time she's brought out a new skincare launch so I was so excited to see the launch of her Regenerating Hemp Seed face oil that I had to pick it up at my last beauty appointment with Suzanne. I'm planned to do a more in depth review soon on my blog for this facial oil but I've been using it morning and night with the LilSpa Gua Sha stone and honestly I can see why she proudly raved about it at our appointments. It's filled with loads of great ingredients that are designed to reduce inflammation, promote new cell production, and doesn't clog your pores. The Regenerating Hemp Seed face oil literally melts into my skin and I noticed it actually keeping my face looking hydrated all shift whilst I was on night shifts.

What are you loving this month?

Speak to you next time!
