My June Favourites

Danielle Levy, June Favourites, Antipodes Skincare, To The Moon, Lush, Lush Snow Fairy, beauty blogger, Wirral blogger, Liverpool blogger,

I cannot believe that we're already at the middle of 2021 already, I feel like we literally just had Christmas and I've already seen people on social media talking about getting ready for this Christmas. I'm still living in Summer mode so let's just get on with talking all about some of my favourite things during June.

The Importance of SPF | Dermalogica X Skcin

Danielle Levy, Dermalogica, Skcin, SPF, nurse blogger, beauty blogger, Wirral blogger, Liverpool blogger,

We're almost at July and as we're all aware the Summer sun is coming in thick and fast, with all this sun most of us are spending it a lot more time outside, with a lot more skin exposed to the sun and I'm guessing about 60% of you reading this have either not put any SPF on today or you haven't put the right amount on. I recently got the chance to attend the Dermalogica X Skcin masterclass talking all about SPF, some of the myths around taking care of your skin in the sun, and how to protect yourself from skin cancer so I thought now is as good a time as ever to reinforce the importance of wearing SPF everyday and wearing it correctly.

Diary Of A Spoonie | Kally Sleep

Danielle Levy, Kally Sleep, Sports Recovery Pillow, spoonie blogger, nurse blogger, Wirral blogger, Liverpool blogger,

As we all know I have suffered for many years now with chronic pain in my back, shoulders and neck thanks to an injury I obtained whilst at work, one area that has been most affected in recent years has been my sleep. I have tried almost everything from sports massages and TENs machines to Epsom salt baths and painkillers, something I have found (and copied from work) is having my back or legs supported with pillows because it really took the pressure of my back or legs and allowed me to get a restful nights sleep. Recently I've just been using the pillows on my bed whilst I was on the hunt for a body pillow and I was so excited when this Sports Recovery pillow from Kally Sleep arrived on my doorstep because it has everything I'm looking for!

Trying Essential Oils For My Anxiety | Alexandra Kay

Danielle Levy, Alexandra Kay, essential oils, chronic health blogger, lifestyle blogger, Wirral blogger, Liverpool blogger,

Living with such a stressful job as well as anxiety, chronic health issues and chronic pain, being able to get a good nights sleep and being able to relax is something that I struggle with so much. As quite a few of you may know, I've really been looking towards non-pharmaceutical ways to help and I'm so thankful to have found the Alexandra Kay pure essential oil blend from Green People and been able to put them to the test over the past couple of weeks.
