Adding Rose In Your Daily Skincare | Nivea Rose Care Review

Nivea, nivea rose care skincare, skincare blogger, beauty blogger, skincare, Wirral blogger, Liverpool blogger,

I've been using Nivea products since I was a teenager and over the past couple of months I've slowly been getting bits from the Rose Care skincare range and it's finally time to share my thoughts on a budget friendly option that can leave your skin feeling soft and smooth whilst also smelling amazing.

Micellar Rose Water Face Wash
I am a big fan of the Nivea micellar waters so I was really excited to get my hands on the Micellar Rose Water face wash. Does anyone else feel like their face washes take absolutely ages to use up, even when I'm really liberal with the amount I use morning and night. You can get the 150ml bottle of the Micellar Rose Water face wash for only £4! This face wash has a gentle, non-drying formula to help cleanse your skin of dirt and impurities whilst keeping your skin feeling soft and hydrated.

I've have a drier skin type so I have to be really careful with what face washes I use as any that leave my skin with that squeaky clean feeling, often dry my skin out too much and then also leaves me with breakouts cause I've stressed my skin out. Thankfully with the Micellar Rose Water face wash, there is none of that dried out feeling, it simply leaves my skin feeling really soft. I also noticed that using it morning and night, it's also improved areas of redness on my cheeks and around my nose as well as any redness I get around breakouts.

Moisturising Gel Cream
This face moisturiser was the first product I tried from the Rose Care range and honestly this is the perfect time of year to use it. You can get a 50ml tub for £5.99 and with this being a gel cream formula, a little bit of this goes a long way so I can see you really getting your bang for your buck as this will last you ages. I find that thanks to the gel formula, it's such a lightweight, cooling moisturiser and I'm really looking forward to using this when it starts heating up cause then I can pop this moisturiser in the fridge so it's even cooler when you apply it.

The Moisturising Gel Cream is filled with organic rose water and hyaluronic acid so it's going to keep your skin feeling hydrated and soft as well as giving your skin the anti-oxidants benefits from the rose water. I've particularly been using this moisturiser on the days that I've been in work as it's really lightweight so it feels like my skin can breathe and stays hydrated throughout my 13hr shift without my pores feeling clogged. I like that it has a really nice, subtle rose scent but not that heavy, old lady rose scent (you know the one I'm talking about!).

2-in-1 Cleanser & Toner
We all know that I can get a bit girl lazy, especially after night shifts or chaotic shifts so I love having products like this 2-in-1 cleanser and toner in my skincare arsenal as it allows me to get into my precious bed minutes faster. Now I do double cleanse when I wake up after a couple hours sleep but using this cleanser allows me to remove any makeup, skincare and grime from my day so that I'm not rubbing that all over my pillow whilst I sleep. This 2-in-1 cleanser is more of a cleansing milk formula compared to a micellar water cleanser which honestly I prefer as I find that it's more hydrating for my drier skin and it also takes makeup off without having to do loads of rubbing and tugging on my skin.

You can get a 200ml bottle for £4 and again, a little bit of this goes a long way. I normally put about 50p size on one cotton pad then place another cotton pad on top and gently press so that both pads get just the right amount of product, you can also pop it straight onto your fingers and massage it into your skin like you would with a cleansing balm then wipe it off with cotton pad or water. For me, this 2-in-1 cleanser really has that lovely, typical Nivea scent mixed with a nice rose scent and the combination of the two gives it a really nice fresh scent. Again this is another one that you could put in the fridge during the warmer months to really cool and calm your skin.

What's your favourite Nivea product?

Speak to you next time!
