My number one goal for this year is to get stronger and fitter because my chronic pain and illnesses have well and truly kicked my butt so far in 2021. When I look back on trying to workout in the gym years ago, I never really knew how to form a workout and how to properly use the weights so I mainly did the machines and it was only just before covid that I actually started working with a personal trainer. But whilst the gyms were shut during lockdown, I didn't really have a clue how to keep up those workouts at home. Thankfully I found Sarah from The Female Online Coach which has allowed me to transform my home workouts and also help me get my confidence for going back to the gym.

I've been using Nivea products since I was a teenager and over the past couple of months I've slowly been getting bits from the Rose Care skincare range and it's finally time to share my thoughts on a budget friendly option that can leave your skin feeling soft and smooth whilst also smelling amazing.

I'm so excited that things are opening up again as it means more fashion content from me, during this lockdown I just really haven't been feeling it and with my chronic pain being pretty bad, I've been living in loungewear. So I'm excited to start dipping back into fashion with a post all about this beautiful necklace I've become obsessed with from Wolf & Gypsy.

We are all well aware with how much of a skincare addict I am but one thing I've never actually tried is an online skincare consultation. Usually when I do anything skincare, either checking out new launches or getting a skincare treatment, they usually involve feeling your skin to check for things like oiliness or dryness as well asking you some questions about your skin and your skincare goals so you know I was interested to see how a virtual skincare consultation would go.

For a little while now whenever I've shared something on my social media about my chronic illness or anxiety, it's always been really well received and it amazed me how much awareness needs to go into invisible illnesses so I thought that now life is starting to resume again (and actual medical appointments would be going ahead), I would start a little mini series on my blog (and maybe it will spill over onto my social media too) talking about the diary of a twenty something spoonie who's also a nurse.

I've got two weddings coming up later this year so I've really been trying to take care of my skin from the inside out and one of the things I've been adding into my day to try and help this is collagen supplements as they're not only supposed to help with you skin but may also help with my chronic joint pain too.
