New In: Nivea

Danielle Levy, NIVEA, beauty blogger, Wirral blogger, Liverpool blogger,

Spring is finally starting to come around and the sunny skies are coming out, so it's time for some out with the old and in with the wonderful new products from Nivea! Being part of the Nivea Family, they occasionally send me out some of their new launches (as well as some of their top picks) to put to the test so I thought I would share them with you all.

Q10 Skin Sleep Cream
I am a big fan of serums or moisturisers with vitamin C in as I find that it really helps brighten my skin as well as helping with fine lines, I usually use my vitamin C serums in the morning so I was really intrigued by the Nivea Skin Sleep Cream as you apply it every evening. This Skin Sleep Cream is designed to help the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles to give you smoother and fresher looking skin with Coenzyme Q10 and vitamin C. To me this has a thicker serum consistency, I applied it to one side of my face and noticed that where I had applied it, it immediately felt softer. I'm excited to put this into my evening skincare routine and see the effects long-term, I'll be sure to report back how I get on with it!

Rose Care Moisturising Gel Cream
Now I love anything pink so as soon as this Rose Care moisturiser landed on my doorstep, I was in love with it cause not only is the packaging pink but the moisturiser has a light pink tint to it. This moisturiser is designed to intensively hydrate your skin for 48 hours and is filled with organic rose water and hyaluronic acid to leave your skin feeling soft, instantly refreshed and having that healthy glow. Now I am normally a cream only moisturiser but this Rose Care moisturiser has a gel consistency and it literally melts into my skin. It has a slight rose scent because of the organic rose water in the formula but I noticed once it's applied to my face, you don't even notice the scent.

Naturally Good Organic Cocoa Butter
I featured the Organic Cocoa Butter in my January Favourites blog post because as soon as it arrived on my door step, it was put straight into circulation in my bathroom particularly because of the unique new bottle with the squeeze and roll way design (super handy for someone like me who has problems with my hands, I find it so easy to be able to get the product out the bottle). Even though this is classed as a body lotion, I find it's more thicker in texture so it's perfect for my drier skin and I find that even though it's not your typically thinner, lotion consistency it soaked into my skin so quickly. I also didn't leave my skin with that greasy, unable to get dressed feeling which is key for me from a body care product.

Diamond & Argan Oil Shower Cream
I have loved the Nivea shower creams since I was a teenager, pretty much every year I always end up with a Nivea gift set with one of these in and honestly they make the perfect gift idea for anyone! The Diamond and Argan Oil one has a really nice lily scent that isn't too overbearing which works perfectly for me cause I can layer a body butter or lotion over the top and it just blends together, you don't end up with two overbearing scents. Sometimes I get a bit girl lazy and forget to moisturise after a shower which can lead to certain areas like my forearms or legs looking visibly dry. However I actually tested it out with the Diamond and Argan Oil shower cream and I didn't get any dry patches at all. I also find this shower cream really reasonably priced, some can actually get really expensive but you get 250ml for only £1.99 and I feel like these are always on offer too!

You also don't need to check all your shops for your favourite Nivea products, they have recently add a shop section to their own website so you can go right ahead and order from them. At the moment they're also offering 20% when you spend £20 and free delivery on orders over £25.

What's your favourite Nivea product?

Speak to you next time!
