Transforming My Fine Hair | Mayraki First Impressions

Danielle Levy, Mayraki hair, fine hair, beauty blogger, Liverpool blogger, Wirral blogger,

Since my teens a big insecurity of mine is my hair and how it seems to be getting finer as I get older, I have tried pretty much everything possible with barely any success. So when the lovely people at Mayraki offered to send me some hair care to try and help me tackle my hair concerns, you know I jumped at the chance to try them out. I've only just started to test them out so I thought I could give you my first impressions now after trying each product a handful of times and then in a couple weeks, I'll come back with a more in-depth review with some comparison photos so you can see how my hair has physically improved from using the Mayraki products.

Danielle Levy, Mayraki hair, fine hair, beauty blogger, Liverpool blogger, Wirral blogger,

Mayraki is founded by group of hair professionals, herbalists, and chemists who provide solutions to common hair and scalp problems. They focus mainly on creating products that help solve people's hair and scalp problems whilst also helping you to improve your hair's condition without breaking the bank or damaging the environment. All of their products have had years of dedicated research combined with the purest organic ingredients to produce high quality hair care which is Paraben-free, Sulfate-free, and Silicone-free.

Hair Growth & Anti Hairloss Kit
The Hair Growth & Anti Hairloss Kit comes as a two step product that is designed to cleanse your scalp and hair of impurities and promote hair growth. This was the first product I actually tried from Mayraki and it's definitely become one of my top favourites. Inside the kit you get both the scalp cleanser and shampoo in 300ml bottles with easy to use pump lids which is super helpful for someone like me who sometimes struggles with my grip strength.

The scalp cleanser is step one in the kit and is designed to deeply cleanse your scalp whilst also removing product build-up. It also aims to help any follicle inflammation to leave your hair healthy, strong and shiny. I used a pump and a half, lathered it up then massaged it into my scalp particularly focusing on the areas I know that I tend to get more product build-up. The hair growth shampoo is step two and is designed to not only strengthen and nourish your hair but also prevent thinning and breakage. The shampoo is a creamy brown colour that easily lathers up and leaves my hair feeling cleaner and shinier, I found that a pump easily did for my whole head. After using the kit my hair feels softer but my scalp also feels so much cleaner, I've also noticed that my hair doesn't seem to look oiler faster and I'm less reliant on my dry shampoo which is a huge win for me!

Ultra Repairing & Weightless Moisture Shampoo
In between using the Hair Growth & Anti Hairloss Kit, I've been using the Ultra Repairing & Weightless Moisture Shampoo. It combines Gingko Biloba, Aloe and Canarium Album leaf extract to thoroughly cleanse and moisturise your hair, it also helps to give volume without weighing your hair down which is perfect for my fine hair. This shampoo smells really nice and sweet, I've actually noticed that it leaves my hair smelling really nice in a subtle way. It lathers up nicely on damp hair and I've even used it to double shampoo my hair, normally I'd find that with some shampoos the ends of my hair end up feeling quite dry but thankfully this doesn't do this at all!

Silky Smooth Proactive Hair Repairing Treatment
If you only try one product from Mayraki, make it this one. Trust me, you will love it!! I am a huge fan of regularly using hair masks to really nourish my hair and help my hair look silky smooth and soft. The Silky Smooth Proactive Hair Repairing Treatment can be used as either a pre-shampoo treatment if you have more damaged hair or as a normal hair mask once you've shampooed your hair. It's filled with a combination of natural collagen amino acids, Camellia Reticulata seed oil, Gingko Biloba leaf extract, Aloe and Macadamia extracts to help nourish and heal your hair.

I've mainly used this as a post-shampoo mask, applying a generous amount all over my hair and I usually forget I've got it on and end up leaving it on for 30-60 minutes because I will put it on, put a shower cap over the top then do chores, meal prep or curl up and catch up on my favourites shows. Let me tell you the first time I washed it out of my hair, I don't think I've EVER had my hair feel so soft and manageable. I sometimes find that my baby hairs can get a bit frizzy when they're freshly washed and I was really impressed that the Hair Repairing Treatment actually smoothed them down!

I'm going to be testing solely them for the next couple of months so that I can do a more in depth review for you all but already I can see that they're going to become favourites in my hair care routine. I'm also thinking about testing out some more of their haircare products and I might even put their new Lash and Brown Growth Serum to the test on my fine brows and lashes! If you fancy testing out some Mayraki products, they've kindly set up a discount code so you can 20% off your order with the code DANIELLE20.
