Jolie Beauty Second Skin Blushers & Bronzers

Danielle Levy, Jolie Beauty, beauty blogger, Wirral blogger, Liverpool blogger,

It's been a little while since I've talked about makeup on here but I'm back with a bang with an amazing brand that's new to me. For the past couple of weeks I've been trying out the Jolie Beauty Second Skin blushers and bronzers and I've been so impressed with them, I couldn't wait to share them with you all!

Jolie Beauty
Jolie Beauty is the brainchild of a team of highly experienced makeup artists who throughout their careers have worked with some of the biggest names in the makeup industry. Their experience has driven them to design and create an amazing range of products that can be used by everyone from long-term makeup artists to aspiring makeup artists to even a makeup addict like me! All of their brush sets are cruelty-free and vegan-friendly, their lashes contain no mink or animal products and all the makeup products listed on their site are 100% cruelty-free and not tested on animals, they also favour vegan products wherever they possibly can. If that's not enough of a reason for you to shop with them, they also support a host of animal charities and help work towards the awareness of animal testing.

Packaging & Price
All the Second Skin blushers and bronzers come packaged in white holographic boxes with rose gold lighting bolts, inside each product comes protected in bubble wrap so you don't have to worry about your blusher or bronzer being broken during shipping. They're packaged in beautiful rose gold compacts with mirrors so they're perfect whether you like to do your makeup at home or whilst on the go. Both the blushers and bronzers come in at just £14.99 per product or you can get the Second Skin Artistry Bundle for £74.95 which comes in either light/medium or medium/dark and comes with two bronzers and three blushers.

Second Skin Blushers
Over the past couple of weeks I've been trying out two of the Second Skin blushers in Rendezvous and Flushed. Jolie Beauty have 3 other shades of blush that are equally as pretty as Rendezvous and Flushed, all of their blushers have a super fine formula so they build up beautifully without looking caked on. Rendezvous is a beautiful pink blusher with subtle shimmer and Flushed is a warm coral shade with subtle shimmer, they both apply really nicely to my skin and I use them as either a light flush of colour or built up to really define your cheekbones. I also noticed that I can apply these in the morning and my blush still looks as amazing at the end of the day as it did when I first applied them.

Second Skin Bronzers
Since I've gotten into makeup, I've struggled with bronzing and contouring because I'm so pale and as such any product I've tried has always made me look like I've been rolling around in mud. So the first time I tried the Second Skin Bronzer in Latte I was fully expecting to have that oh so familiar muddy look but I was pleasantly surprised that when I applied it with a fluffy brush, it just blended nicely on top of my base and gave me a light sun-kissed look. Again you can build the bronzer up without it going cakey so if you've gotten more sun than me or have fake tanned, it can still work for you. In the Second Skin Bronzer range there are two other shades with Latte being the lightest so you can guarantee that there will be a bronzer to suit your skin tone.

Another way I've also used them is to use them as a light flush of colour on my eyelids with Latte in the crease as a subtle contour. When we are able to go travelling again, it's the perfect multi-use product so I don't have to cram a bunch of makeup with me.

Are you a bronzer or blusher person?

Speak to you next time!
