As well as being a bit of a skincare addict, I'm self-confessed face mask lover so you know when a new face mask that I haven't tried lands on my doorstep, I have to start testing it straight away. The lovely folks at Antipodes sent me over a little Manuka Honey Skincare Heroes gift to try and soothe my poor skin and help heal some of the maskne I've been suffering with.

It's been a little while since I've talked about makeup on here but I'm back with a bang with an amazing brand that's new to me. For the past couple of weeks I've been trying out the Jolie Beauty Second Skin blushers and bronzers and I've been so impressed with them, I couldn't wait to share them with you all!

During shielding I attempted to make healthy changes to my diet but since going back to work, I let my healthy ways slip due to time restraints, work and tiredness but it's time to bring those healthy changes back and make them permanent. For the past couple of weeks I've been testing out the Cocoa Vanilla powder from Wellness Lab and adding it into my diet and I thought I would share with you all how I got on with it.

Halloween is definitely going to be different this year, a lot more of us are celebrating with at-home Halloween parties or even Zoom Halloween parties. With all those celebrations comes the horrible Halloween makeup, I remember even being a teen and doing my makeup for Halloween, that stuff felt so thick and like you'd be washing it out of your pores for the next year. Thankfully this month, I've gotten Behind The Brand with the lovely folks at Nivea and they have shared some ways we can all look after our skin this Halloween.

Looking at me now you would never believe that way back in my teen years I was never a girly girl who was really into skincare and makeup. I think my first introduction into skincare was Simple and Nivea products but I remember even back then that going into your local Superdrug or Boots, the skincare aisles were unrecognisable compared to now and there weren't that many options for younger skin. Over the past couple of weeks I've been adding some Funderm products into my current skincare routine and I thought I would share with you all what I thought of them.

We all talk about how much we should take care of our skin, but how many of you actually think about taking care of the skin of your hands?! Winter is always a tough time for my hands, they're normally left sore and cracked around my knuckles but coupled with being a nurse and cleansing them a million times during a shift makes the dry, cracked skin so much worse, not only on my knuckles but around my cuticles too. Thankfully the lovely folks at Slixir sent along some of their Hand & Polish cream to test out and share with you all.

I suffer with chronic dry skin which only gets worse during Autumn and Winter time so serums have become a vital part of my daily skincare routine. This year my skin hasn't just got to battle with the cold weather, it's also got to battle with the drying environment of a face mask so for the past couple of months I've been testing out a bunch of new serums to find the best ones that work for me and all my skincare woes and I thought it was about time to share it with you all.

Is it just me or is your razor the one beauty thing you always forget to replace on a regular basis and it just sits on the wall in the shower?! Hair removal is definitely something that I am a bit hit and miss with doing, it's always something that I've done for me and not for a guy or because society says that I should do. Let's face it I have very light blonde body hair so 99% of the time you can barely see it so if one day I really don't feel like doing it, I simply don't. I was recently introduced to Estrid, an amazing female-focused razor brand that completely alines with my views on shaving so I wanted to share it with you all!
