September Favourites

It's that time of the month again.....it's time to share some of the things I've been loving during September! I can't believe how quickly this month is speeding away from us, part of me is really excited because I can start looking forward to all things Halloween and Christmas (I'm a huge Winter fan!).

The Secret
I've really gotten back into reading this month and after my sessions with Lauren, I picked up a couple of books including The Secret by Rhona Byrne. I've really gotten into Law of Attraction and manifestation and I've noticed since getting rid of some negativity in my life and focusing more on putting more positive vibes out there things have changed in my life for the better. This book has definitely reignited my love of reading again and I literally devoured the book within a couple of days.

The Rules Of Life
Again The Rules of Life by Richard Templar is another book that is all about personal growth but I really enjoyed reading through it. It's definitely the type of book that you can flit in and out of as it's filled with little tips that are a page or two long, all whilst being written with humour. I've been reading this on and off over the past month and found the tips in it to be so useful, something that really sticks for me is the tip to always dress like today counts because making the effort will always make you feel differently, build your self esteem and respect as well as building your self confidence.

Batiste Cherry Dry Shampoo
It's been a while since I've been able to see my favourites at The Colourbar Wirral so my highlights are looking a little sad and my natural dirty blonde colour is coming back through so I've been using dry shampoo on a regular occasion to not only freshen up my hair but also to give my hair some volume. I've used pretty much only Batiste dry shampoo since I was teenager and it works perfectly for me. I've become obsessed with the cherry scent but they have a million and one different options including tinted ones which is perfect for those with darker hair.

Dermalogica Hydro Masque Exfoliant
I've been trying this face mask out for the past couple of weeks and I've been loving it, not only is it a hydrating face mask but it also exfoliates to give me nourished, glowing skin. I love that the mask contains little spheres so you just have to apply a generous amount then massage in until all the little spheres have dissolved then you leave for up to 5 minutes. I've been leaving it on for 5-10 minutes to really give my poor dry skin a much needed hit of hydration.

ARK Skincare Facial Mist
As I mentioned in my last blog post I've been obsessed with facial mists because the face masks in work have completely sucked all the moisture out of my face. I've been using and loving the ARK Hydrating Beauty Mist, the spritz is just light enough that you don't feel like you're being blasted in the face and it also works well over makeup to refresh your skin without moving or smudging your makeup.

This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray
Working all sorts of different shifts alongside my blogging means that my sleep schedule is all over the place some days I'm going to bed at 11pm and other times I'm going to bed at 8am so a saving grace in my wind down routine for bed is spraying the This Works Deep Sleep spray on my pillow cases and my pj's. It's filled with lavender, vetivert and chamomile so it's really calming and helps me drift off for a sound nights sleep. I always like to stock up on this during Christmas time as Boots always have fab This Works gift sets around this time of year.

What have you been loving this month?

Speak to you next time!
