Getting My Motivation Back During Lock Down With Clever Fox

I am guessing that any of you lovelies who have been reading my blog or following my social media probably already know, but for the past 14 weeks I've been stuck shielding in my house due to health reasons and as a result my motivation took a real hit. I am going to do a more in depth blog post all about it and my experience. Thankfully the lovely folks at Clever Fox reached out to me and asked if I would like to try out one of their planners and they couldn't have picked a better time cause trying out their Undated Daily planner really helped me to get my motivation back and be more productive during my day because I wasn't putting as much pressure into what I needed to get done that day. 

Whilst you and all my fellow introverts would think that being unable to leave your house may sound great because you think that you finally have the time to get loads of jobs done. I had this thought when I found out I was going to be shielding for what was initially 3 months but unfortunately my mental health took a hit and I didn't have the motivation to do things with my day and I spent far too much time just watching things on Netflix and playing with the puppy. Now I am already a huge fan of the Clever Fox Budget planner and a huge planner fan so I am so glad that I got to try out one of their daily planners. I had actually been eyeing up getting one of the daily planners before they reached out to me because years ago whilst I was still in education I always used to be the person that planned my days by the hour as I found that I was able to be more productive that way and I was actually looking for the perfect planner because I wanted to get back into planning like that. 

Now the Undated Daily planner is designed to help you to create a vision for your life as well as defining and breaking down your long and short term goals so that you can actually achieve them. The planner doesn't just focus on planning your day to day life, it also focuses on your daily, monthly and yearly goals to help you reflect on what you need to get done and help you to stay on task. As part of my mental health recovery I have been focusing a lot of gratitude and trying to get rid of the negativity in my life and welcome more positivity into my life so I love that the daily planner helps to incorporate gratitude and affirmation techniques into my day to day life. 

I was so impressed with the planner when it arrived, it came packaged in a hard, decorative Clever Fox box so I knew the planner was going to be well protected, there is nothing worse than having something arrive that is all dented. Inside the box is your planner of choice, a how it works booklet as well as some stickers so you can get creative with your planning. I love that whilst you can use the planner however you wish, they include the how it works booklet as it gives you an idea of how to use it and why it was designed the way it is so you can get the most out of it. 

I am big fan of having a monthly spread in planners cause I'm so busy with everything that I do, I find having it everything I do that month on two pages saves me time flicking through to check if I have a certain day free and it stops me double booking or overloading my schedule. One of my favourite things in this planner is the weekly page as I before I plan out my week I usually write everything down that I need to accomplish for the week on a list pad so that I can evenly spread it out so that I don't get overwhelmed on a particular day so having a page in my planner dedicated for this is so helpful and I can make sure that I'm accomplishing everything I need to for the week as well as keeping on track with my habits and keeping my yearly goals in mind every week with the life balance to-do list section. 

I have really been loving using the Undated Daily planner, it's really helped me to become more motivated again and want to get up and start my day. Being able to plan my day out in an hourly schedule has really helped reduce my anxiety in my day to day life as I'm not feeling overwhelmed with my weekly and daily tasks. Now understandably not everyone plans out exactly how I like to plan but thankfully Clever Fox have such a big range of planners, journal and books so if you plan slightly different or are looking to change it up from what you normally do there is something to match you.
