Frankie Bridge is an incredible singer, presenter and she's even written her own book Open all about mental health awareness. I remember her from back when she was in The Saturdays, is that showing my age?! Her first collection with Oasis last year was so incredibly popular that she's actually brought out a second collection for Spring/Summer. The collection is filled to the brim with hand picked pieces from Frankie that reflect her own personal style as well as bringing warmer, earthier tones into our Spring/Summer wardrobes. As we start to get warmer days and less rain, the new collection mixes different textures together, such as silk shirts with denim, ribbed knits with a trench coat to give you a relaxed layered look. The Frankie Bridge & Oasis collection launches tomorrow (or if you've signed up early you get access to the collection today).

I got the opportunity to pick out a couple of pieces from the collection to style and review. Boy it couldn’t have come at a better time, my wardrobe is just full of denim, jumpers and big coats, there’s not a Spring outfit to be seen! As I was trying to decide what items I wanted to style up for this blog post, I couldn’t help but notice that I like pretty much all of the collection which is really unusual for me, normally I’m lucky if I like even half of the collection. I decided that I would end up going for a couple of pieces that I could mix and match with other pieces from my wardrobe to make my Winter wardrobe into a Spring wardrobe for a fraction of the price.

The front runner of the entire collection for me is the Balinese Patched Midi dress, it’s the perfect Spring dress. I love that the dress isn’t stiff and has a bit of stretch to it so it’s really comfy whether you’re dressing it down with sandals and sunglasses for a picnic in the park or you’re adding a leather jacket and little ankle boots to dress it up for a night out, it’s the perfect all-rounder dress. I decided to style mine up for a day of brunch and blogging events with the Duster Trench coat from the collection and some studded cut-out boots which were a super comfy and lightweight outfit that I wore all day and well into the evening. I loved the pattern of the dress, the different pattern on the shoulders and the slight puff to the sleeve was a really nice feminine touch that I found really flattering for my body shape. I loved pairing a lightweight scarf with the trench coat as a great way to accessorise it.

I can see me wearing this dress as the weather heats up with a lovely pair of sandals and some sunglasses during the warm weather for a day out in the sun, the dress itself is so lightweight that you could layer it up for colder weather but equally it would work perfectly for the warmer weather with it being so light. I'm really loving this collection from Oasis and there's so many pieces that I've got my eye on and I think I might have to pick up and refresh my winter wardrobe with.

The lovely folks at Oasis have kindly given me a free delivery code to share with you all so you can pick up your favourite pieces from the new collection. Use the code DANIELLEDEL for free delivery off your order.

What do you think of the new collection?

Speak to you next time!
