Who wouldn't want to spend an evening at Too Faced after hours?! A few weeks ago I got the chance to head over to Too Faced in Liverpool One to hang out with some amazing Liverpool Boss Babes, talk all thing business, enjoy some cupcakes and fizz and spend the evening playing with makeup.

Boss Babes Brunch was created for empowering businesswomen to get together and enjoy networking at an event that is completely turning networking on its head. Whilst they do host their events at some amazing food places, they are also changing it up and hosting a bunch of their events with some fabulous beauty brands that we all know and love. This time round they were hosting their event with Too Faced in Liverpool One which if you haven't been it's super cute, super girly and a makeup lovers dream.

We were welcomed into Too Faced with glasses of bubbly, marshmallow cupcakes and truffles and given chance to browse the makeup. I feel like it's been ages since I've checked out some new makeup launches and I've only tried a handful of products from Too Faced so I was excited to have a play and try out some new bits. Once we'd all had our fill of makeup, fizz and cupcakes it was time for business networking with a twist. If you don't know when Boss Babes network, it's not your mamma's networking! To stop the boredom and add some excitement into the evening, we did speed networking where you split off into pairs and get only 2 minutes to both introduce yourself, your business and what you do on the daily as well as sharing your contact details (this is where business cards come in super handy!). You may think that 2 minutes is more than enough to talk about yourself but you would be surprised how quickly a couple of minutes go by. After we'd all met each other, it was time for games and shopping. The lovely folks at Too Faced had kindly organised a game where all of us had to search the testers for a small sticker on the base and the three winners won a full-sized Too Faced product which was so generous of them.

Whilst I was at the event, there was special offers and free gifts with anything purchased and I was desperately in need of some setting spray but a couple of bits also caught my eye so I had to pick up a couple of things. I did pick up a watermelon scented glowing setting spray which every setting spray NEEDS to be watermelon scented! I also picked up the brand new Hangover Pillow Balm and the Born This Way Turn Up The Light Highlighter Palette. I've been using the Pillow Balm after I've put my makeup on before work or after just getting up as I find it a bit more nourishing than your standard lip balm, I also love that it's applied with a doe foot applicator as it's the perfect, more hygienic option! The lovely girls at Too Faced popped the new highlighter palette on my face whilst I was at the event and I was completely in love with how beautiful my skin looked so I had to pick it up, I love that it's got two different highlighters as well as luminous skin perfecting powder which I love to use under my eyes/in the middle of my face to give me really pretty glowing skin.

I had such a brill time at the Boss Babes event and I met some incredible Liverpool based businesswomen who are killing it. I also love that I managed to find some amazing new bits from Too Faced which are super cute and smell amazing, let me know if you would like to see more in depth reviews of the products I picked up once I've been able to properly road test them.

Have you been to a networking event?

Speak to you next time!
