#HeartfeltWithMoonpig | Celebrating Mothers Day

Danielle Levy, Moonpig, Mother's Day, #HeartfeltWithMoonpig, lifestyle blogger, Wirral blogger, Liverpool blogger,

Mother's Day is quickly approaching and I bet you completely forgot that it came so quickly after Valentine's Day, I know that I for one genuinely thought that it a little bit later in the year (and I also feel like I'm still in January so that's probably why I thought it was later in the year). Thankfully the lovely folks at Moonpig sent a nudge in the right direction with an invite to their Mother's Day event.

Who Are Moonpig?
Moonpig has been around since 2000 and has been making incredible waves since they launched and are now the UK's leading retailer for personalised cards, flowers and gifts. They have over 10,000 cards so you're guaranteed to find a card perfect for any occasion and with some many options to personalise there are even more occasions you can find a card for and you can make it perfect for your desired person. I love the idea behind personalising a card to be as unique as the person you're giving it to and that there can be a story behind every card.

This Mother's Day Moonpig are encouraging everyone to get heartfelt with their cards and gifts, they want to show everyone that being heartfelt with your gift-giving this Mother's Day doesn't have to be complicated or hard. They want you to be able to do it anywhere and everywhere with their super easy and convenient website meaning you can be in the middle of a night shift (like me), in the middle of travelling or stuck at home with kids or a new puppy and you can still get the perfect card and gift and have it dropped off without worrying about missing Mother's Day completely!

Myself and my mum were kindly invited along to the Moonpig event in Manchester to get more heartfelt ready for Mother's Day next month. We were welcomed with Prosecco and got the chance to hear all about Moonpig from the lovely folks at Moonpig then it was time to start enjoying some activities with my mamma.

First up we got the chance to have a go at making our own cocktails with some of the drinks you can buy from gift section of the Moonpig website, whilst I was driving so I couldn't drink I definitely picked up some tips for making my own cocktails at home and my mum thoroughly enjoyed the cocktails she tried. Then it was time to have a go at something we could both do, flower arranging. We got to pick out our favourite flowers from a selection they had available then it was time to learn how to make the perfect bouquet. They even showed us how you can glam up a cheaper bouquet of flowers with wrapping paper, tissue paper and even newspaper. Moonpig has got an amazing range of flowers that you can get delivered from letterbox bouquets for the mum that's never in her house or luxury bouquets to treat the mum that's always spoiling others and never treating herself or even sweet bouquets for the mum with the biggest sweet tooth in the family.

Finally, I got the chance to create my own Mother's Day card with a photo taken on the night. I was able to pick everything about the card from the style to the picture to what I wanted it to say on not only the front but also inside. You can also add a photo to the inside of the card as well as adding it to the front. Before we all headed home we were given a little gift to take home and enjoy, the Pamper Hamper letterbox gift from Penny PostInside they had included some lovely hot chocolate from Clipper and some Chamomile tea from English Tea Shop as well as some yummy sweet treats including a bar of milk chocolate from Happy Jackson and some of the Monty Bojangles Truffle Bites. Not only were there enough sweet treats to enjoy, but they'd also included some treats for you to pamper yourself including nail files, a blueberry lip balm from Yes Studios and hand cream from Heathcote & Ivory.

Don't forget that Mother's Day isn't until the 22nd March so you've got plenty of time to head over to the Moonpig website and get your mum something perfect to celebrate Mother's Day.

Do you know what you're getting your mum for Mother's Day?

Speak to you next time!
