What I Want To Achieve At 27

Danielle Levy, lifestyle blogger, Wirral blogger, Liverpool blogger,

I can't believe that I'm actually 27, I still feel like I've only just reached my 20's! This year I wanted to set myself some goals of things that I want to accomplish this year, alongside my new year's goals I set at the beginning of the month. These goals are something that I really wanted to accomplish this year and I don't particularly want to leave them any longer to complete.

Get Another Pet ~ Over the past two years, we lost both our family pets and the house just doesn't feel like a home anymore. Those of you that have had pets past and present know that once you've had a pet in the house, it feels really empty when the pet is no longer there and I've realised how much having a pet helped my anxiety. So this year myself and my family are ready to welcome another pet into the family (I think it's going to be a smaller sized dog) and I'm really hoping that this is going to happen within the next couple of months as we've been having serious discussions about it.

Decide Where I Want To Live ~ At the end of last year I made the decision to start saving for my own house, yes I feel like that is really late for this goal but hey everyone gets there at their own rate. The one thing that has stopped me from buying my own home is that I still can't decide where I want to live! I don't have kids that need to be in a certain area for schooling, I don't currently have a partner so I can essentially move to anywhere in the Wirral/Liverpool without having any restrictions and this for me is just too much choice! This year I want to make a serious decision about what area (I'm gonna pick a couple in case one doesn't work out) I want to buy a house in then I also want to make a serious dent in my house deposit.

Get Better With Budgeting & Debts ~ With wanting to move out into my own home at the end of this year/beginning of next year I really want to perfect my budgeting, sometimes I make a budget and pay all my bills but I don't save as much as I could because I treat myself to things. I also have a credit card that I really want to pay off and leave at nothing so it's there purely for the case of emergencies!

Get Into Healthier Routines ~ At 27 I think it's safe to say that I'm actually an adult now so I think it's about time that I start getting into healthier life routines. This goal is mainly going to revolve around taking better care of my body, mentally and physically so eating better things, going to the gym more often and actually get into a better routine with my sleeping as well as taking better care of my mental health.

Book Japan ~ I haven't been on holiday in literally years (hello workaholic!) and I decided that with Sam away teaching in China that we could possibly meet together and go away somewhere on her side of the world. I am a big wimp so I couldn't ever go travelling abroad on my own but meeting someone part way round the world I could do and for the past 9 months I've been completely in love with Japan and being able to go on holiday there so this year I want to at least book Japan (it's very expensive to fly from the UK especially when I'd prefer a seat that I can lie flat due to my bad nurses back).

Get More Organised ~ This is one of my main goals this year and I feel like it's something I work on every year but I want to get it perfected this year. I feel like with work, blogging and vlogging my life is pretty hectic so this year I want to perfect actually having work days and just general life days each week, at the moment I feel like it all ends up merging into one every day and then I have melting days when I just need to do nothing and melt (get it?!) into the couch. So I want to make sure I have very clear separate days for work and just general life days so I can become less of a workaholic!

Have you set some birthday goals?

Speak to you next time!
