Trying to eat healthy or in my case follow Slimming World whilst living a busy life is no easy feat, my downfall is always making sure that I have plenty of healthy food and snacks in so that I'm not tempted to go and get chocolate or crisps and ruin all my hard work. I've been toying with the idea of getting fruit/veggie boxes delivered for a little while now for multiple reasons and thankfully the lovely folks at The Yoghurt Pot asked if I wanted to try out one of their boxes and get me jump started on being one of the 29% of people that actually eat their recommended amount of fruit and veg a day!
I have been toying with getting fruit/veggie boxes since the last part of 2018 especially after seeing some vloggers I follow featuring them but I could never find one close to me that matched with just what I was looking for! Thankfully the lovely folks over at The Yoghurt Pot offered to send me one of their boxes to try out and see if I liked the service. They have a bunch of different boxes with everything from dedicated fruit, veg or meat boxes to mixed boxes and even boxes for soup, juice or smoothie making and boxes to get kids involved in eating healthier. All you have to do is decide what box you want and when/where you want it, it's that easy! It's not like a subscription box so you can sign up and cancel whenever you want, whether you only want 1-2 boxes a month or a box every week there's something to match everyone's lifestyle.
I tried out their Super Speedy Surprise box which contains a surprise mixture of normal and salad veggies, don't worry you can specific if you can't have or don't like certain veggies. This arrived via tracked delivery which actually gave me a 1 hour delivery slot and came packaged perfectly to prevent anything getting smushed and ruined. My box came with some mushrooms and tomatoes in a seperate mini box for extra protection, spinach, cabbage, courgettes, carrots, and broccoli. This veg box came at the perfect time as I needed some more veggies for side salads with meals and I also wanted to make a giant pot of super healthy soup filled to the brim with veggies for easy lunches or dinners.
I'm so impressed with how quickly my box came and how everything came in perfect condition, nothing came limp, smushed or ruined! I really want to try out their fruit and meat boxes, I definitely will be getting these boxes in future as they're super handy for me especially with me being so busy at work, I can just order what I need and have it delivered at a time that suits me! I need to try out their fruit and meat boxes next! They are also offering a free fruit box worth £9.99 with any new subscriptions placed in January over £20 using the code "FREEFRUITBOX" at the checkout, so if your one of 71% that don't eat enough fruit and veg every day then consider this the universe telling you to go get one of these boxes and get some more fruit and veggies in your life!
Have you tried having a fruit or veg box delivered?

*I was gifted this veg box by The Yoghurt Pot to try out their services. All opinions are honest and my own.
I LOVE the sound of this! I go through so much fruit and veg but the selection I usually get from the supermarket never seems to last good, and so much is always out of stock when my online order comes! I love the sound of the soup boxes too as I love taking soup to work in the week, especially when it's still this cold! Will be checking them out for sure!
