In 2018, I've really gotten into going to afternoon tea, I feel like I've been with everyone from my best friend to my mother. Before Christmas, I got the chance to visit the gorgeous Inglewood Manor with Jessi and some amazing local bloggers to visit the manor and check out their festive afternoon tea.

Inglewood Manor is a beautiful country home in Ellesmere Port, Wirral. Not only would it be an incredible place to go away for the weekend, it is also a wedding venue (no surprise!), a conference venue, and a restaurant.

Before we headed in for the afternoon tea, the lovely staff at Inglewood Manor gave us a tour around some of the different hotel rooms they have available and we even got to see the Bridal suite. The hotel is actually a grade II listed hotel with 29 bedrooms that are all decorated differently so there is truly a room to match everyone. All of the rooms are so luxurious and true to the Edwardian style, four poster beds, coffee machines, and even Molten Brown toiletries in the ensuite. Not only are the rooms beautiful but all of the rooms have stunning views of the manor grounds. I definitely want to go back for a birthday night away towards the end of this month!

As we came back downstairs from viewing the rooms, we were escorted into their private dining room and everyone was gobsmacked. The room was gorgeous! There was a huge Christmas tree, candelabras, and a big fireplace (my favourite thing about any venue!). For the Christmas themed afternoon tea, we had a selection of festive sandwiches, cakes and scones with plenty of tea, coffee and prosecco flowing whilst we all chatted about everyone's upcoming festive preparations and how everyone's 2018 has been.

It was all such a lovely evening at Inglewood Manor, everything from the location to the gorgeous afternoon tea to prosecco with some lovely people, I couldn't have had a better time. I am hoping to head back later this month for some birthday celebrations!

Speak to you next time!
